Super cozy restaurant, where it feels more like home than a restaurant. Hands down, the best meal I had in South Africa. I had a special kudu starter, and a tbone as my main and it was so amazing, I cannot talk how amazing and...perfect everything was. This was a return visit during our annual holiday in South Africa and it was just as great as last year! We had 8 friends with us and everyone had a superb meal with really good and inexpensive drinks. The steaks and ribs were outstanding...- properly aged beef cooked exactly as requested. The Mediterranean salad and ciabatta starter was perfect and enjoyed by all, the mixed vegetables and chips were greaint, and the desserts were also excellent. The wine selection using 5 colours for groups of same priced wines is such a good idea - you choose your wine from the wine wall. They are all really good value; the Pinotage and Sauvignon Blanc were both delicious and inexpensive. Karen and her family made us feel very much at home with attentive friendly service all evening. The menu is essential, good choice of different meat and even a vegetarian option is available. Also the wine range offers something for every taste. We can really recommend it if you like a delicious piece of meat.
