Our experience at Hello! It’s me! last night was unfortunately tainted with very tough steak. The portion size was also not 200g but that was rectified by our waiter when we enquired about the tiny piece of steak. The sauce was also not as much...as usual. We also disliked the large study group that met up at the restaurant. They were very loud! Maybe not an appropriate meeting place for a study group when orher diners want to have a relaxing or romantic evening. Service and chocolate cake still very good!More

This a excellent venue for catching up with friends over a good cup of coffee and various options to eat.

Had the vegan burger! Absolutely divine, one of the best vegan burgers I’ve had! If not possibly the best.

Had an interesting breakfast - citrus salmon and it was delicious ! My friend has the Mexican breakfast bowl which she enjoyed. The coffee is great and the service good. Always a nice crowd of people so the atmosphere is nice

Lots of yummy vegan options, and a really chilled vibe. Options in breakfast and lunch for vegans. Definitely a gem in Port Elizabeth.

The butternut and bacon gnocchi dish is the best gnocchi I have eaten in any restaurant I have visited. The flavours were amazing and gnocchi itself was prepared to perfection. My wife had the beef and broccoli noodles, which was also very good. The our...waiter was great and the overall experience was brilliant. A certain must in PE.More

We have had breakfast at Hello It’s Me twice on our visit to PE, by far the best breakfast / coffee spot and the lunch and dinner menu look great too. The prices are reasonable and the coffee, service and food excellent.

We have eaten at this establishment many times and we have never had a bad experience. “Hello! It’s me” caters for different tastes. The menu is interesting and the decor is fresh and modern. Try the Old man steak with Zucchini fries! The Aperol Spritz...is the best I had in PE so far (just like they make it in Italy:-)) and is also good value for money. The chocolate cake is a must-have and absolutely decadent!!More

My friends and I have before all been to Hello It's Me in Main Rd Walmer and enjoyed our meals. And yet this evening has resulted in mixed reviews. The kudu steak, lamb burger and pork noodles were tasty. The Mexican flat bread was bland,...garnished with a shredded lettuce salad, not salsa. My friend had to ask for the avo and sour cream, of which the sour cream never arrived. A major disappointment was the smoked chicken and mango salad as a light meal. The mind of sslad greens hid a clumsy arrangement of thickly sliced wedges of smoked chicken and slivers of TINNED mango. Nothing more! So unappetizing. Honestly, why offer a mango salad in winter when fresh mangoes are a summer fruit? There were only 5 tables in total and we were the last to leave at only 9pm. Yet the staff had already started cleaning the integrated kitchen. Apart from the loud clattering, that was a visible hint for us to leave. All in all, probably a better lunch venue than dinner.More
