Great flavour!

Great flavour! Everyone at the table had something from the sea and 👍 all around! Personally had the Burmese Seafood Curry!

Absolutely stunning seafood

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at the Fat Fish on Easter Monday. The service was superb, our waitress Busi was friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. All three courses were outstanding. The calamari was superb and we were able...to substitute tuna in the line fish of the day main which was super fresh and perfectly cooked. Brownies for dessert rounded off one of my top 10 meals ever; a combination of the location, service and food all contributing to the best meal of our South African adventure.More

Amazing food and great service!

We had dinner at Fat Fish and it was amazing. The waiter was super friendly and gave great advise on the menu and the wine. Would go there again any time! I would recommend making a reservation as the place was super busy.

Fantastic food and great service

Wow! Wow! Wow! This was our 3rd time here and it just keeps getting better (as evidenced by the full restaurant). Best service In Plettenberg Bay - our waitress (Priscilla?) was amazing as was the friendly and hardworking manageress and other waiters (a contrast to...the hotel we stayed at). The food was perfection - from the pear and blue cheese salad to the ceviche, beer battered fish and queen prawns - all 4 of us were blown away.More

Overrated

Overpriced quick turn around table fast food. Lovely table service staff. The signature Malay seafood curry was served with a freshly deep fat fried poppadom, a small portion of rice and stuff of the sea and a sprinkling of fresh coriander. Not great, not signature....Average feedback provided and ignored thereafter. Looking elsewhere for the rest of the week.More

Always good

Best oysters in the town, fresh seafood, happy atmosphere, great wines and nice view. Good choice for a relaxed lunch or dinner.

SETTING THE STANDARD

We have historically rated the Fat Fish as excellent On Wednesday afternoon at fairly short notice we " needed" the FF'S Parmesan chilli baked kingklip The booking was taken professionally by Mel.. We arrived at 6ish amd were warmly welcomed by Busi and others and...the very ebullient Donna The service , quality of food and even an ambience ? ( it was still early ) were all world class! DON’T COME FOR THE SUSHI

Worst sushi I had. The rice tasted just like normal rice and not like sushi rice, which made the whole experience unenjoyable. I don’t recommend it at all. Other dishes might be better, but don’t come for the sushi! I rarely leave bad reviews, but...this time I felt I had to.More
