The ambiance was good, food was descent but the portion size was tiny. View is quite nice from the restaurant and there is parking available.

After waiting close to an hour for our Pizzas on Thursday night - we could sense the tension in the room as we were obviously not the only ones having endured a far longer than acceptable wait. The server assured us our food was almost...ready but when I went to the kitchen myself to investigate our food was nowhere in sight. A gentleman who identified himself as the manager intervened and promised his urgent attention. I’ve been in the hospitality business myself and a manager wearing a peaked cap and hoodie over his head hardly inspires confidence. Nonetheless, our pizzas eventually arrived. Completely bland and uninspiring. One of which was supposed to be Gorgonzola which was sadly lacking any Gorgonzola at all! Our server was at a loss as she indicated that all waiting staff were reliant on tips and that they could not pressure the kitchen for service. My impression is that the staff including managers are overwhelmed, the restaurant takes on more than it can cope with (apart from seated service, they do takeout and Uber type delivery), it’s a matter of pot luck when the meal arrives and if it even has the correct ingredients. Outside of a busy service I can imagine the food is pretty good - but ours wasn’t. The wine list is comprehensive if more than a little expensive for local tastes. And it’s locals that keep places like this running out of season. Our best advice is NOT to go on a Thursday when they run specials.More
One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in years. Service was bad. Food took 40 minutes to come after waiting 25 minutes to order and the meals did not come together, 2 people were finished before the next two meals came. The pasta is...extremely expensive for extremely small portions (and as a family we all prefer small portions but this was ridiculous). Pizza was tasteless. 3 attempts to process a correct bill after we had already waited a while to get it. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to any one.More
We took to Cornuti on a pearler of winters day. There were very few people in the restaurant but that most certainly had nothing to do with the quality of food and service. Chef Bongani, a passionate young man really surprised us with the most...unbelievable meals. The flavours were truly spectacular and would resemble any of the fine bistros in Italy. The lovely experience was only emphasised by our waitron Felicia. A super charismatic lady that rounded off the lunch and brought a very welcomed energy to the table. We so looking forward to our next visit already. Much gratitude.More
Menu incorrect, my main - chicken (according to the menu) should come with mash and broccoli.... Our sweet little waitress explained that the menu was incorrect. I had Mash with the chicken (that was tough) as only 1 side..... We ordered the cheesecake to share...for dessert- cold cheesecake with some chocolate over the cold cream cheese. Disappointed.More
Dear Michelle - I am sorry you were disappointed with your dish. However I must point out that according tho the menu, the description of the Limone is "Chicken Limone - Escalopes of chicken, pan fried in olive oil, fresh herbs and sauce limone, served...More
The seafood pasta was incredible. The flavours just came together so well, with a little acidic lemon zest to top it off. We also ordered the 5 prawns as a starter, delicious as well. For desert we got the cheesecake, and oh boy was it...good. Quite a large portion, but enough to feed a family. All in all, the food was amazing, but the best part was the service. Our waiter Edgar was such a joy to have serving our table. He made the night very enjoyable by giving us educated tips and suggestions, and adding a little of his Italian language knowledge for fun. He said their pasta was the best in the world, and I have to say it replicated authentic Italian dishes perfectly. Wow wow wow what a dinner. Thanks Edgar.More
We wanted a quick snack so decided to pop in here.... I can say that this was 1 of our best 🍕 that we have tasted.... we also had some local craft beer to wash it down.... Will return soon.....
This place has the most delicious pastas - they have the best seafood pasta I have ever had in SA. Great service - will definitely be back
Thank you so much to Edgar duma who served us for his lovely sense of humour and great suggestions! Delicious food and the manager is so lovely to deal with
Recommended as one of the few places open on the particular night, this was a real find. Very friendly staff, excellent menu range and a lovely setting. All round great last night in Plettenberg Bay. Pizza was excellent
Perfect position in the heart of town with fantastic elevated view towards Keurbooms and beyond. We were lucky enough to arrive in the middle of their half price cocktails two hours and were promised the best margaritas in the country. Well all I can say...that they were right up there at the best price one could dream of. We followed a string of Margies with two of the best Pizzas I have had outside of Cape Town. Definitely the best I have had on the Garden Route. Attentive friendly staff making for an all round pleasant eating experience. In the words of Arnold...I will be back !More
The meal was exactly what we were wanting on a Sunday evening - Faith and Richard ,the new management team are making a real difference to this local Plett restaurant . We enjoyed the succulent and tasty ribs served with freshly cut and fried potato...chips . And a Pizza with a thin crisp base which was baked in a wood burning pizza oven , it had loads of topping with a good balance of flavour and freshness Felicia is a great waitron, always friendly and caring about her customers Well worth a visitMore
Unfriendly staff with unacceptable attitudes. Seated and then waited and waited and waited … to be served. Wine selection on the menu not available. Will not be back.
I had fond memories of Cornuti at the Heads in Knysna many years ago and was hoping for a similar experience. They found us a table and we ordered some drinks. The Cosmopolitan cocktail was not good and very watery. We then placed an order...for a salad and pizza. After 1 & a half hours my husband inquired where our food was as it took very long. I could see that the pizza area was struggling to cope but we should have been informed of the delay and kept up to date which was not the case.my husband salad was just cheese with radishes, very uninspiring. My pizza was fine but the mood was spoilt as my husband was upset for waiting that long so we left with take away instead. Best they pre-warn new arrivals that they waiting period is long as that way you manage expectations.More
Linguine with 4 queen prawns ordered - very mediocre spaghetti with mini-prawns received - see photo - with no comment from waiter or kitchen. Tried to order dessert but none available other than tiramisu. Service was poor - waiters inattentive and unfamiliar with menu. Longs...delays, pretty shoddy. Menu prices expensive - food and experience definitely not worth the money.More
