What a lovely dinner. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming Robert. The restaurant itself has such a cozy and unique charm. Our waiter Stuart was wonderful and attentive and very good with children. The food was incredible and the service was great.
Expensive for what it is and disappointing based in its reviews. No vegetables on menu or offered so just receive steak with a few roasted potatoes. Sauces offered as extra payment. Very much a case of style over substance while other restaurants available offering much...better quality and value for money.More
Great food, great service and great atmosphere!! Typical South African dishes combined with steak and fish on the menu. Boboti springrolls, tuna carpaccio, springbok filet, kingklip, beef filet and the deserts were great. Don't forget the fantastic wines😉
A lovely restaurant, tucked away just off the Main Street of Plett. The ambiance is lovely, the staff were really on the ball and knew their menu well. Robert our waiter was great. The food was amazing with a good menu. Really lovely place and...definitely worth booking a table. Will be back!More
The most delicious steak I have ever had… just so tasty and beautifully cooked. Accompanied with wonderful roasted potatoes that I am going to try to re create! Sauce and steamed veg.. perfect! Really enjoyed cape brandy pudding too. Highly recommended!
Good food, nice wines and a good atmosphere. We’re sitting outside with heathers keeping us warm. It was first evening in Plettenberg Bay and unfortunately it had been raining all day. So it was really cosy to sit outside with the rain dropping on the...roof and still be warm. The food was excellent and our waiter Yaya was a true legend, smiling all the time and had good recommendations. Thanks Yaya! The winelist was compact, but had good wines on it.More
Were recommended to this restaurant by our hotel and they were so right. Lovely setting and we sat inside in the bustling restaurant. Authentic South African fare, we had smoked ostrich, bobotie spring rolls, springbok and ostrich fillet. All perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Wine...list is comprehensive and we enjoyed a pinotage (never been reviewed on Vivino!) and this worked really well with the food. Space for a shared brandy pudding, like a sticky toffee pudding but so much nicer! Service was very friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend.More

A small restaurant but beautifully decorated. You should make a reservation in advance. The service was really friendly and the food amazing. We had a soup and the bobootie springrolls as starters and the springbock and ostrich as mains. I would definitely go again.
The most amazing steaks in Plett. We went for a dinner and each had a different steak, all of them were incredible, although my personal favourite was the ostrich. The puddings were also top notch, as was the service. 100% recommended!
Lovely, cozy, restaurant with a unique menu. I chose the filet, and my husband had the ostrich. Both were excellent cuts of meat, and our server recommended a beautiful red wine to accompany them. The bobotie spring rolls were a delicious spin on the classic...dish! We also purchased some local art for our home that was unlike anything we found in other galleries.More
I like the homely intimate feeling of this restaurant. For starters we had the bobotie spring rolls and tomato soup. The spring rolls went beyond my expectations and my wife enjoyed her soup. Mains I had the rib eye steak and my wife ordered the...lamb curry. I enjoyed my steak with a chimichuri sauce but my wife’s curry was the star of the show. Service was very good, we will definitely return next time we are in Plett.More

Second visit having been recommended by our hotel In Plett and we soon saw why. Very warm welcome and throughout evening efficient and friendly service. Loved the eclectic restaurant and the menu had some great dishes- loved the tempura prawns, the ostrich and the kingklip...which were all perfectly cooked.
