Excellent food and excellent service! Lovely place to have some dinner at and the staff were very helpful and accommodating with my two year old daughter. Please make sure to try the Bobotie spring rolls and the steak (we did the chimmichuri sauce and was...very yummy) Seriously fantastic! Panna Cotta was also very very good and worth noting. Would very happily visit again. Note that the bathroom doesn’t have a changing table for smaller babies.More

Brilliant restaurant with excellent seafood and an unique staff. Also the wine recolonisation suits perfectly. We’ll come back.

Nguni is truly a hidden gem in Plett. Such a cosy restaurant and the food doesn’t take long. We wanted the full experience so we had all 3 courses. The Bobotie starter was lovely and their chutney was delicious. The ribeye and the sirloin on...the bone were prepared very well. The kids had the brownie dessert which was not too sweet and topped off the meal nicely… I will definitely be back here again.More

We felt like steak and did not want to be disappointed. We had lamb curry, steak with salsa verde sauce (YUM) and deep fried Camembert for desert (which could have been a bit bigger). Everything was perfect, from the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, to quality,...to service. It’s also acceptably priced and portions are good. Very happy experience, thank you!More

Highly recommended for a night out that ticks all the boxes. Magnificent Steaks. Wine. Ambience. Relaxed but excellent service.

We visited Nguni restaurant twice during our stay Best food in Plettenberg Bay hands down. The ambiance and service faultlessly executed by Robert. The fish tasted like it came straight from the ocean OUTSTANDING. The steaks were melt in the mouth tender and the ostrich...perfectly executed. The prawns were sublime crispy fresh and delicious. Honestly we travel all over the world and this restaurant is 5 star!More

Ate at Nguni twice in one week and would make it our weekly local if lived here. What a superb restaurant. Understated 5* quality. Food not overly fussy whilst still managing to be interesting and quite simply, outstanding quality. We ate prawns, steaks, baguettes, ostrich,...line fish (genuinely fresh, which we didn’t have the pleasure of experiencing at other restaurants in Plett), scrumptious desserts and wish we stayed longer to work our way through more of the menu. We are an intensely fussy group when it comes to food and service and can’t recommend Nguni highly enough in every single category. Thanks ladies for incredible food and Robert, your service is wonderful!More

This restaurant is lovely. Hidden away and sadly quiet, but I reckon the pandemic explains a lot of it. Awesome food. Go there
