I would recommend Bramon to no one. In 2019 we had a family lunch that was wonderful even though quite expensive, only to return in 2021 and have a terrible experience.
The portions were small, the food didn’t taste good and the service was Terrible. Really not what I expected. We were 13 guests cramped into a table that could only take 8 at most. Very disappointing.

This was the most dissapointing wine farm restaurant I have ever been to. Apart from the slow service my food (Fried calamari) was cold and overcooked when it finally arrived. I sent it back. My wife’s food was still not ready after everyone started eating and was only served after we complained. I will not go back.

We had our worst restuarant experience in the last 3years at Bramon. We were 8 adults and 3 kids. The waiter was great but the kitchen was so slow and send us less than half the tapas we ordered with half a bread (we ordered 2 breads) between 11 people hours after ordering. Management is terrible with limited interaction. It was one of my favourite spots in plett but now my worst.

Great setting spoiled by exceptionally poor service and bad food. Food started coming in drive and drabs more than an hour after we ordered, some of it undercooked. Such a pity, this used to be a great place.

When we arrived at the venue, there was a queue waiting to be admitted, despite having reserved earlier. The lady with the reservation list, was the same person who showed us to our table?? She was doing this with everybody entering the restaurant, hence the queue and the delay.
In short, great food, very good, friendly service, but we felt the restaurant was too crowded under present circumstances? Luckily we were outside and the table closest to ours, was unoccupied for most of the time.
Restaurants need to enforce COVID protocols, if they wish their customers a happy, relaxed experience?

We used to love to come here and much enjoyed the tapas style food and scenery.
The latter is unchanged and lovely, sitting in the vines, but we have lately been very disappointed with the food every time since it is under new ownership. The portions are smaller, the items more costly, some ridiculously so, and the food simply is bland and no longer interesting. Even those items that were taken over from the old menue disappoint. And they seem to sell mostly other producers‘ wines too when before we always had lovely award winning white wines, now nothing. Made us wonder why we even came…
It is a real shame! But the high cost paired with the diappointing dining experience makes us stay away for now.

Picture yourself lost in magnificence of the garden route on a crisp winter's day, looking for a quick bite to calm your raging hunger..... We were met with incredible smiles, knowledgeable staff and a glass of near perfect bubbles.
This lovely restaurant is in the vineyards and boasts the most comfortable of fireplaces. The knotted bread on which your meal is based comes to the table still steaming fresh.
Whatever your taste the sides will exceed expectations and delight the taste buds as well as the eyes.
Really a phenomenal little spot well worth getting out to see.... Perhaps even more than once.
Thank you for this great experience.

We recently tied the knot at the exquisite Bramon Wine Estate and cannot be more thrilled with the service and experience!! We are so so happy with how the big day turned out, the staff are all so friendly and the co-ordinators are brilliant at what they do! Everything was so beautiful and perfectly organised. They went the extra mile in every way. The food was beyond delicious and left the guests only wanting more. They day turned out to be nothing shy of a true fairy tale. Thank you so very much!

A fun and festive venue to relax on the setting of a wine farm. Service by Adrio was brilliant especially as the patrons were significantly more than expected.
Food was excellent - calamari, pate, homemade bread, carpaccio, marrow and ham Parmesan, cheese plater, salmon.
Portion sizes for certain dishes should be tailored for the number of people at the table.
Wines - Sauvignon blanc was nice and light but they also have Pinot noir, Merlot and MCC. You will find something you like.
Booking essential!

We stopped in here for lunch on our way between George and the Tsitsikamma National Park, and were very glad we did.
Being lovers of tapas and trying various small plates, this was just up our street. The hot salted bread, crispy calamari, smoked snoek pate, and garlic & chilli prawns were all devine - tasty and superbly prepared.
The venue was clean and inviting, and the warm fire added to the ambience whilst the rain and mist swirled around outside.
The service was also great - friendly, confident and effective.
Well worth a visit when passing through.

Divine! Sitting between the grape-vines sipping bubbles and eating absolutely delicious tapas on a sunny afternoon at Bramon was an experience to remember. Excellent service by our waiter Jade. We loved the pear and blue cheese salad, the watermelon relish and the bobotie cigars. Highly recommended.

We loved sitting out under the shady umbrellas within reach of the Bramon vines.
Friendly and efficient staff, gracious hostess and chef Renata, and excellent food.
Pasta tapas are freshly made (order several to share), as is the bread. With a glass of refreshing MCC Blanc de blanc and a view of the Tzitzikamma mountains on a spring day - what more could one want? Oh yes - a rousing birthday chorus from the charming staff! Well done to the team and Renata for her superb Italian touch!

Visited the estate today for lunch at 2pm . The host Nick was warm and welcoming. Most of the food was good,we ordered a lot . The prawns were frozen so least favorite. The bread was very good . The cigars were great . Raviolis were bland . The experience went downhill with the waiter Burton. He never bothered to check up on us during the main meal . I had to flag someone down to get him to assist with desert . I ordered 4 deserts, one of which was a brownie with pecan nuts and ice cream . I received a blob of melted ice cream instead ,no brownie no pecan nuts . I once again had to get his attention and he didn’t pitch up at the table . I then asked the manager Nick to assist as we received a random bowl of melted ice cream only . When Burton brought the brownie , he blamed the kitchen staff for misunderstanding my order . The brownie arrived with no pecan nuts although it states inclusive of pecan nuts on the menu . When I queried it with him ,he lied that all the pecan nuts were finished . Upon receiving the bill , I was charged for the random blob of ice cream . I was also charged the full price for pecan nuts on my desert . I queried this with him and asked him if he actually checked with the kitchen . He admitted he didn’t and gave me false information. He was just too busy to assist me . I gave him ten percent tip( I usually tip 20 percent ) and took it up with Nick the manager . How is it ok that the waiter Burton lied about an ingredient from my desert . As the waiter it was his job to ensure what I ordered was correctly served and that my bill was correct . Burton couldn’t be bothered about my family as customers. I am so disappointed as this was my first experience at Bramon . I spent close to R2000 on lunch and my waiter preferred lying to me and serving me a sub standard desert rather than taking a few minutes and rectifying the issue . To add insult to injury he added stuff on my bill that shouldn’t have been there and showed no remorse whatsoever when I took him up on this issue . I will not be visiting this establishment again . They need to train their staff to treat customers better .

The concept is great, family style dining.Pick your tapas paired with a fresh loaf of bread. Recommend the poppers, pate and a bottle of White Brandon Nectar wine.
