Seeking our first winery experience in South Africa we were recommended this estate. We were blown away by the food, views and wines. But most importantly, the hospitality was incredible. Nick and Lucille both took time to talk to us, sharing knowledge. It was so...good we stayed 3 hours and bought some wine.More

Thank goodness normal service has resumed at this farm, the new owners are returning it to how we knew it a few years ago, what a wonderful place to sip wine and eat fabulous Tapas whilst sat amongst the vines.

What a delightful wine estate! We enjoyed the very fresh bread with a few of the tapas-style dishes (ravioli, calamari, Parmesan salad, brie & cranberry) and were seated on a very large table looking out across the vines (and envying those who'd arrived earlier and...were eating at table IN the vines). A while later one of those became free and we moved, just idyllic, we stayed quite a while sampling the wines tooMore

There is absolutely no love. It feels like the owner has fallen out of love with their own restaurant. It was a cold grey Saturday afternoon. There are two fireplaces and non were lit. There was not 1 bottle of Bramon wine on the menu....Only cheap white and read that you can buy at any store. We had to drink wine out of champagne glasses. Apparently they didn’t have any more wine glasses. Even though the restaurant was only 50% booked. The tapas were good but that was about it.More

Tapas between the vines at Bramon after many years, remains a treat. The service is friendly and efficient, the food, especially with a new menu, is a treat, the ambiance is lovely. As in previous years, we'll be back again next year.

We keep returning here for lunch on our vacations to the Western Cape because of the unique setting and the tapas style menu. The food is delicious and the staff friendly and efficient. Bramon is just a 20 minute drive from Plettenberg Bay along the...N2. Book online to be sure of a table amongst the vines (weather permitting).More

We have visited Bramon at least 50 times since it opened and have seen it grow over the years with the original owners, Peter & Caroline. Today we visited for the first time in three years and it was extremely sad to see all their...work sadly undone, we really can’t believe that there was not a single Bramon wine on their wine list and no white wine available at all??? The restaurant is still busy due to the reputation that the original owners had put in place but sadly this has now become a tourist trap and the sooner the present owners are able to sell the better, they clearly had underestimated the amount of time and hard work required to run a wine farm.More
