We booked the last slot before closing time as we had a long drive beforehand. Great communication with Nick the manager on the way there to ensure we wouldn’t miss our timing. The setting was beautiful and the food fantastic, the spicy garlic prawns were...our favourite. Lovely choice of wines, and beers, to go with our meal. Nick also took the time to explain the history of the establishment to us and the plans for the future. Staff were all friendly and smiling, despite the fact that they would have been at the end of a busy day. Thoroughly recommended.More

We had a great moment away from any stress. The restaurant is perfect for lunch or dinner if you like tapas. The food was excellent and the service also.

Five nice wines - and then light lunch... except the bread was too big for two! And still we had excellent hummus and tasty springbok carpaccio. Very enjoyable visit, meeting friendly staff - wine master had time to tell us about their wines - and...after very light breakfast brunch was big enough. This relatively new wine farm is really coming.More

We had the most amazing experience at Bramon Wine Estate for a bridal shower. Everyone there was so lovely, helpful and gave the best service. Nicky was an exceptional waitress! And person! She helped me so much and helped me plan a year in advance....The food was amazing and the wine! Nick the manager was awesome and Elana! Thank you!More

Visited the estate today for lunch at 2pm . The host Nick was warm and welcoming. Most of the food was good,we ordered a lot . The prawns were frozen so least favorite. The bread was very good . The cigars were great . Raviolis...were bland . The experience went downhill with the waiter Burton. He never bothered to check up on us during the main meal . I had to flag someone down to get him to assist with desert . I ordered 4 deserts, one of which was a brownie with pecan nuts and ice cream . I received a blob of melted ice cream instead ,no brownie no pecan nuts . I once again had to get his attention and he didn’t pitch up at the table . I then asked the manager Nick to assist as we received a random bowl of melted ice cream only . When Burton brought the brownie , he blamed the kitchen staff for misunderstanding my order . The brownie arrived with no pecan nuts although it states inclusive of pecan nuts on the menu . When I queried it with him ,he lied that all the pecan nuts were finished . Upon receiving the bill , I was charged for the random blob of ice cream . I was also charged the full price for pecan nuts on my desert . I queried this with him and asked him if he actually checked with the kitchen . He admitted he didn’t and gave me false information. He was just too busy to assist me . I gave him ten percent tip( I usually tip 20 percent ) and took it up with Nick the manager . How is it ok that the waiter Burton lied about an ingredient from my desert . As the waiter it was his job to ensure what I ordered was correctly served and that my bill was correct . Burton couldn’t be bothered about my family as customers. I am so disappointed as this was my first experience at Bramon . I spent close to R2000 on lunch and my waiter preferred lying to me and serving me a sub standard desert rather than taking a few minutes and rectifying the issue . To add insult to injury he added stuff on my bill that shouldn’t have been there and showed no remorse whatsoever when I took him up on this issue . I will not be visiting this establishment again . They need to train their staff to treat customers better .More

Fans of Bramon will be thrilled to know that the restaurant is back to its very best! My wife and I have been coming here regularly for about 6 years. A wonderful early period was followed by a severe decline in standards 2 or 3...years back. But it is great to know that new owners have now been in charge since mid-2023 and have taken the restaurant to new heights. We visited with a family group of 12, and ordered a variety of breads, tapas, shellfish, pasta dishes, salads and desserts - as well as the excellent Bramon wines that are back on the wine list. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, perfectly prepared: just superb. Huge congratulations to the new management. We will certainly be back very soon!More

Seeking our first winery experience in South Africa we were recommended this estate. We were blown away by the food, views and wines. But most importantly, the hospitality was incredible. Nick and Lucille both took time to talk to us, sharing knowledge. It was so...good we stayed 3 hours and bought some wine.More

What a delightful wine estate! We enjoyed the very fresh bread with a few of the tapas-style dishes (ravioli, calamari, Parmesan salad, brie & cranberry) and were seated on a very large table looking out across the vines (and envying those who'd arrived earlier and...were eating at table IN the vines). A while later one of those became free and we moved, just idyllic, we stayed quite a while sampling the wines tooMore

There is absolutely no love. It feels like the owner has fallen out of love with their own restaurant. It was a cold grey Saturday afternoon. There are two fireplaces and non were lit. There was not 1 bottle of Bramon wine on the menu....Only cheap white and read that you can buy at any store. We had to drink wine out of champagne glasses. Apparently they didn’t have any more wine glasses. Even though the restaurant was only 50% booked. The tapas were good but that was about it.More
