In a town filled to the brim with students and academics, a spot like this will always have feet. Since students and lecturers are on the hunt for a good coffee and light eats, Sisa decided to cater for their needs. The coffee is a...pleasant and not too punchy. Just the boost you need, when you visit Grahamstown/ Makhanda.More

Sisa's is a familar haunt for my wife and I when the noon-day blues hit and they rarely fail to impress. Well made coffee, friendly staff and great vibe keeps pulling us day after day. Thanks Mr. Barista!

The coffee was excellent and the barista was knowledgeable. We had a flat white and a cortado and both were exceptional. We also enjoyed some baked goods which were delicious and a lovely treat with the coffees. I highly recommend Barista Sisa.

We enjoyed the fact that all the food was pre-prepared and so allowed us to get the food immediately. Although there are only a few choices, all of them are enjoyable and the drinks choices are plentiful. The vibe was great, and the staff were...very friendly.More

As the name says, Sisa owns and runs this place, and the world of coffee is better for it! The locals in Grahamstown know he's been plying his trade for years, building up his skill, but now finally it's his own show. It's clear the...pride he has in his shop and every coffee he pours. The story is enough to support him, but the quality of the coffee is enough by itself. The queues prove it.More

Fantastic coffee as Siesa's - cold iced or hot cappuccino, depending on the day & your mood! Great inside & outside areas to sit & enjoy your beverages - with friends or with your laptop! Will be back, for sure, when next in Makhanda!

Sisa is a top barrista for a small town and makes really good cappuccino and other espresso drinks. Bakery items accompanying the coffee are from a shop that used to be separate. Bagels are a speciality – made the proper way, boiled then baked. For...a quick meal there is a range of sandwiches and wraps as well as pies and other bakery items. Occasionally I find filled items like wraps are too runny, making them awkward to eat. Overall: best coffee in town and the only place to get a real bagel (but get in early, they sell out fast).More
