Huge glass of wine and a delicious pizza. Friendly and helpful staff. An outside area for smokers. A warm welcome to the National Arts Festival!

Out for drinks! We had a pit stop here to have a few craft Gin’s and it was so worth it! The place is well designed and to have a good sundowner or to start the evening! Its a must stop in Makhanda!
Service very poor as only one person waiting on tables. Chicken breast had to be sent back to the kitchen twice. 1st time it was raw and 2nd time burnt black with sauce and cheese on top to try and hide it. Overall very disappointing...especially with the prices they charge.More
Great food and really great service from Mr V! Major Fraser's is definitely my favourite cocktail and burger joint in town.
We have gone here so many times, each time is disappointing and after the last experience, we’re done. Never again. The food is good, but it always sounds better on the menu and then disappoints. The drinks are good, but the service is TERRIBLE! It...takes forever between each step. Being acknowledged, getting a menu, getting a drink, getting an order in, food, etc. Plan on being there 3 hours. We had a large group go for a birthday and we all said how terrible the service is, but unfortunately there isn’t many options in Grahamstown. It was the worst experience we all had ever had. We couldn’t even get wine glasses, we had to go get them ourselves. Flat tonic, wrong food orders, it was just one after the other. They need to hire more people. The manager is always there but he never seems to care.More
A comprehensive menu but usually settle for a pizza and beer. Had crafted wood fired pizzas and local craft beer.
My wife had the vegan burger and I the kudu burger. Both were excellent. Also some interesting craft beers and a really good pork belly skewer. Close to the Arch at the local university
Looked everywhere for a good coffee place and this was the only place we could find that we wanted to visit. It was very good. Friendly barista, though limited treat offer as they had sold out of many items. Good ambiance too on a chilly...afternoon.More
We arrived on Wednesday evening for the Kingswood Hockey Tour and came to Frasers for dinner. The service was super and the food was delicious. We considered going somewhere different for our second night but there’s no where better than Frasers in Grahamstown! Other parents...here for the hockey tour told us stories of their experiences at other restaurants and that confirmed that we would happily head back to Frasers ~ and they didn’t disappoint. We were so happy that we even came for breakfast on our last morning here! They are so friendly and accommodating…and our meals were divine. Trust us, don’t go anywhere else!More
Great chilled atmosphere in an open air courtyard. Chicken coriander salad is fabulous as well as the double cheese smash burger!
The food is always amazing and the drinks are very nice and the staff is always friendly , I am always happy to go to Fraser's. Well done chef
Food was top notch, service was great, easy to find location and lovely vibe. Best spot in Grahamstown!
This is a must stop eatery and drinks place in Grahamstown. Major has all-round good service and friendly staff, good music, and a good menu. The menu is carefully selected and its quality food. For this review, I want to highlight the dessert surprise we...got on our wedding anniversary!!More
