This is a venue for all seasons, with lovely seating outside for that summers day or warm inside venue for winter. Open from breakfast to evening dinner, Country Bumpkin is the ideal place for good food and atmosphere. a real winner.

it was a lovely sunny day and we went for lunch with our daughter and 2 grandchildren. It was most pleasant and the boys could run around in the garden.Their extensive menu made our choice easy.

Went for lunch with my mom and sister. Pizza was amazing. Venue was so kid friendly that if I ever do come to East London with my kids, I will definately come here! The setting is so serene!

A good place to eat when we are collecting plants as well. Dog friendly too. Always gives us plenty of ideas for our own garden up in Hogsback in the Amathole Mountains.

We ordered the Winelands pizza laden with blue cheese and green figs. It was outstanding. Their wood fired pizza oven is busy all day. Country Bumpkin is our favourite go to place when we visit East London. A garden setting not to be missed. Highly...More

An ideal spot for a breakfast or lunch with the family. Nice outside area, play area for kids and basic food. While there you can order craft beer from Table 58 (sharing the venue) or just have normal pub-like fair. Great Sunday lunches.

What use to be a tea garden in the old days has evolved into a delicious restaurant. Lunch was a gourmet affair which we thoroughly enjoyed.

I ordered the steak and calamari platter for R130. It was well worth it. The steak was tender and juicy. The calamari was cooked to perfection. It came with rice, chips and a small bowl of coleslaw. Would certainly order this again.

Beautiful setting but just a pity about the kitchen. I have now several times tried their pizza but they overload it with cheese despite my requests to have less cheese. Its like they think that its upmarket to give you lots of cheese and the...More
