Jules on Jarvis for the win!

What an awesome restaurant. There are few restaurants who could compete with these guys. -Food was absolutely amazing, however portion sizes could be a tad bigger. Not necessarily a bad thing as I space for their amazing desserts. The meal was delicious! It's not your typical fast food kind of rubbish, it was a good,wholesome, quality meal with fresh ingredients and lots of flavor. - Pricing was good, great value for money. -Service was not the typical bad service you usually get in East London. I cannot remember when last i had such good service. The day we went it was packed, I was ready to wait for my meal, but to my surprise there was no long wait. There was a small issue of my first dessert being off (courtesy of loadshedding). The way this mistake was handled was fantastic. They promptly apologized, removed it from the bill and thanked me for informing me and politely explained what had gone wrong. Our waiter couldn't have handled this blunder (which was out of their control) any better. I was secretly very happy this had happened because I changed my dessert order to a cheesecake. I cannot remember when last I had a cheesecake that good. I would recommend making a reservation, this restaurant get packed and for a very good reason. It's definitely a little gem of a restaurant in East London. I can't wait to go back.

Totally unexpected.. HUGE hit!!

We had an absolutely phenomenal dinner here!! Quite possibly the best fillet steak I’ve had at a restaurant, I also ordered a side of greens, which were amazing! Both the food and drinks menus are great. The decor inside is gorgeous and the atmosphere was great. Totally worth a visit if you’re in East London.

Been eating here for a number of years and have always enjoyed my meals when visiting East London on business. Quality of food is good and have always enjoyed good service. Generally have a steak and the meat has always been tender. Really find it to be a good neighbourhood restaurant.

Most delicious food in town!

The yummiest burgers and most heavenly salted caramel cheesecake in town, hands down. Their fantastic menu and consistency in quality keep me coming back for more. The staff are friendly and service is excellent. Jules on Jarvis will always be my restaurant of choice for any occasion!

Awesome Valentine dinner. Good choice of starter, main and dessert. Lamb was absolutely delicious as was the panacotta dessert. Beautifully presented, friendly and attentive staff. Well done to our waitress Anisa who answered all our questions confidently. MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANT!

Best food and vibe in town.

I’ve never had a bad meal at Jules. Food is always immaculately plated and service is the best. Bowls, breakfasts, steaks, burgers and pizzas all incredible. Don’t get me started on cakes. And the setting is wonderful. Owners go out of their way to provide personal service.

A real gem amongst the “foodie “community in el . If you want a unique, tasty meal in a cozy environment there is no better option than Jules in el . Julia and her staff are so warm and personal with there patrons . The tapas options and seasonal menu is unmatched in el .always had a great time along with delicious food and a well thought out wine list . A unique gem . That is unmatched in el . Best Damn Steak Ever!

My husband and I visited this restuarant recently and we both ate the fillet steak. It was cooked to perfection. The staff were super efficient and restuarant location is amongst the busyness of the mall close by. Thank you Jules on Jarvis

Great atmosphere, excellent service, wonderful food. Tables spaced out well and felt safe. Visited for brunch - we all had different meals and could not fault it. Top class restaurant in East London!

Jules in Jarvis is one of my favourite spots in town. Chilled vibe, upmarket, energetic staff and great food. Pizza is a must and love the starter and tapas menu. Perfect for breakfast, a coffee and cake date or romantic dinner.

Catch Dylan (Manager) on a good day!

Hi my name is "dining is my most FAVORITE thing to do in the world " For the most part EL restaurants are lovely. But not Jules on Jarvis this afternoon! The short story is, I ordered a margarita pizza and a glass of wine, immediately got an a phone call and NOT EVEN 2 minutes later my pizza arrives! The table next to me even exclaimed and commented, "are you sure you want to eat that...you just took a call a minute ago and your pizza is already here!!?? Luke warm, tomato paste all dry because CLEARLY it had been sitting somewhere for some time, it certainly did not come out of the oven. I alert the manager, a certain Dylan. Without even looking at the dry pizza in front of him he rejects what I say and goes into an explanation of their pizza making process. I say to him that, it took him 3 to 4 minutes to explain that to me and my pizza was done in less than 2 mins. Long story short, I say I don't want the pizza thanks, he insists I must still pay. The pizza is R80. I say no, not a chance I'm afraid. I invite him to call the police or consult the CPA or anything he feels might help him, but I will not pay. I was completely ignored after that, until I asked for the bill With the WORST attitude, he says he took it off, I pay, reward him with a cheeky goodbye and leave, resolving never to return. All I'm saying is, I hope you catch Dylan on a good day 😉 :)
