We love this place to wind down. We start with drinks.... the blue M***F**er and the Buddha margarita. The chicken coconut soup is outstanding and is huge. Sesame chicken is great and a very generous portion. Service is usually very good!
This is our new...go-to place.More
Overall a pleasant experience. I had the crispy honey chicken with fried rice. It hit the spot! Friendly service, they keep your drinks full and they make sure your happy with everything.
It’s a large building and they have plenty of seating. They also have...back rooms for private parties.More
Not a bad spot. A little shady looking in the outside but good food. Quiet on the Saturday we were there. Greta pork fried rice and decent spring rolls. Service was good but the Indian couple behind us has some trouble with the Chinese accent...of the server. In the end they got through it. It's a little off the beaten path but decent American Chinese.More
The food is great!! This is one of those places where I can satisfy my foodie family members with authentic options AND the toddlers with basic, kid-friendly options. The lunch portions are perfect and the dinner portions sometimes make two meals (not for me -...I love to eat - but for others in our family we always end up with leftovers) We have never had anything we didn't like here. We've done take-out, delivery, and eat-in. Lunch is served faster than dinner, but everything is reasonably fast and worth the wait and there's a fish/turtle pond inside to distract the kiddos. A few things we love there:
Kung Pao Chicken (spicy)
Sweet and Sour Chicken
House Special Lo Mein
Veggie Egg Fu Young
Singapore Street Noodles -- AUTHENTIC!! (spicy)
Beef and Broccoli
Crab Won Tons
Hot and Sour Soup -- AUTHENTIC!!
Y'all, if you're going to go to one Chinese place in town this is it. Don't be put off by the weird log-cabin exterior; you are about to experience deliciousness.More
I'll preface this review by saying I've never tried their sushi, however I was extremely impressed with their lunch. Flavors were all on point, staff was very friendly, and the prices were on point for a lunch menu. Food was very fresh and tasty and...I'll definitely be back.More
We ordered soup and 3 sushi rolls online for Saturday lunch at 11:30. We requested a 12 noon pickup time. Upon arriving on time our ticket was ready. There was a single table occupied plus 2 people were leaving as my wife went in. There...was one car in the customer area. Our order took another 20 minutes to get ready. We left at 12:25. One other person came in to pick up an order while we were there. It wasn’t ready either.
The menu here is extensive. Chinese and Thai specialties are offered along with an assortment of sushi – maki and nigiri. Our order consisted of hot and soup, spicy tuna roll, eel and avocado roll and shrimp tempura roll. The order was well-packed but in a thin, unstable bag.
The soup was reasonable. It had all sorts of goodies in it. A couple of spoons of spicy mustard from our fridge made it just right. This was a decent effort. The won tons in their own bag were stale and limp.
The sushi rolls were not traditional and no mention is made on the menu. All of them had Sriracha mayo on them. Since each was in its own box, this was no accident or an incidence of convenience. The rice was terrible. It had a mushy texture and no flavor or aroma. It resembled a paste. The only smell any roll had was from sesame seeds. Each small roll was $5 or more.
The spicy tuna roll had a strip of Sriracha on it as well as one of spicy mayo on top of that. The tuna was purple brown and not appetizing. Due in part to the rice, the texture was so off-putting. Our eel roll had the expected sauce plus spicy mayo. The eel had a nice texture but no flavor. The avocado in this roll was the best thing of the day. The shrimp tempura roll had spicy mayo and was served with another pool of it in the box. A touch of soft, runny wasabi came with each roll. No ginger was included even though I specifically requested it. The rolls were poorly wrapped and easily fell apart. The rice certainly contributed to the problem.
This lunch was a disaster. It failed on most every level. It wasn’t particularly attractive and not tasty at all. Even the soup needed help. Quality rice makes sushi and this was dreadful.
Perhaps the other Asian cuisines are better executed than the sushi. Or could the absence of cars at noon be telling us something? Don’t think we’ll try to find out anytime soon.More
