Great meal here in Oct. 2020. Staff was excellent. Food was traditional and wonderful. No Covid concerns, good safety procedures in place. I recommend asking for the traditional feijoada instead of the “light”. As an American in Brazil they assume you want the “light” version,...which doesn’t have the pig ears, tail, and oxtail. The bean soup that the meal opens with might be the best offering they have... add a little house pimenta for the pinnacle of comfort food.More

I really really wanted to like this restaurant. I was so looking forward to my favorite dish ever - feijoada. The welcome soup was good, everything looked good... But unfortunately the food was wayyyyy too salty. I think they kept the feijoada on the cooktop...for too long.More

Great place to try the typical Brazilian feijoada. Excellent service always checking how is going your experience. High quality product used and also brings the Brazilian traditional flavors. To drink a caipirinha with a big cachaça shot and really be cautious of you get drunk...quickly. Best dessert if you ask for the papaya cream served with cassis liquor. This place is a must when yo stay in Sao Paulo.More

If you are interested in the traditional Brazilian dish, Bolinha is the place to go. While this dish is normally only served on Saturdays, you can enjoy it there every day. Service is great and the food is plenty and wonderful. as others have already...pointed out not a place for the budget conscious.More

Terrific traditional feijoada, and happy I could show off some of Brazil's signature cuisine to a friend. Word to the budget-conscious - delay your caipirinha thirst and seek adult beverages elsewhere, because this is how they get you! Food outstanding, value ok, service excellent.

Went there on a Saturday evening to sample feijoada and we were not disappointed. Feijoada is a typical Brazilian dish which consists of black beans, rice, collard greens, fried pork rinds and sliced oranges. Service was great but I would recommend visiting Bolinhas for lunch....We went there in a group with young children and the service was fantastic.More

Bolinha has a reputation for a place to eat feijoada. It is far away from centre. Although service is good and there is a traditional air in the restaurant traditional feijoada dish and accompanying small dishes came with it, were quite poor: over salty, over...fried except the bean soup, which was good. Caipirinha, which is offered as compliment were also good. However it is also an over priced restaurant and that there are much better restaurants in the city.More

Formal but not stuffy, fancy but not pretentious, and a terrific foodie experience, Bolinha (little bowl) did not disappoint. For the rest of you Gringos like me (BTS: in Brazil, Gringo simply means Americans and is not considered a derogatory word) don't bother with the...menu and just have them bring you the full spread Feijoada (fay-zhwad-ah). In summary, a crock pot full of black beans and pork stuff. Exactly what kind of pork stuff? Ignore that part. Just scoop out some rice (served as a side), then ladle the beans and stuff on top. Amazing. A Brazilian variant of black beans and rice we would get at a cajun place in the states. But the spices are all different. The bread was great, the kicked up drink that goes with is was great, service, the whole shot was a terrific experience.More

The restaurant was recommended by the Hilton when I asked for a good local restaurant. It was a short trip with Uber so we tried. I was a little surprised to find it nearly empty. Maybe it was because it was Sunday evening. The feijoada...tasted very good to me. The prices were higher on weekends which I found rather unfair. For the food, I would go again but the atmosphere was lacking because it was empty.More
