Congrats to all master chef Felipe Bronze personal coworkers. Authentic awarded Michelin star restaurant.
Excellent pairing food/wine in a magical sequence of tasteful samples of a very well elaborated menu.
Starts with a “hands on” degustation series going to a variety of magnificent hot dishes...options, finished with three desserts options.
Certainly my gustative glands had never experienced such ecstasy odyssey!
We’ve visited multiple Michelin restaurants during our visit in Rio and Oro was by far the best meal, service and experience without a doubt. We were lucky to have been seated in front of the kitchen by the chef. We got to see them in...action which was really cool (highly recommend to request if possible). The service was attentive and they always checked on us. The food was amazing! I loved how they did multiple dishes from different origin such as Brazil inspired, Asian inspired, etc.
We were truly so happy with the experience and would recommend anyone visiting Rio to dine at Oro.More
This is my second time here in two months. The food is just incredible and extremely imaginative. The wine pairings were also perfect. I will probably eat here every time I visit Rio. I can’t get enough of this place.
Oro was good, but bellow expectations when compared to its Michelin peers. Service was amazing, but some dishes were flat.
Outstanding dishes: Spicy pork bao, Mochi, sweet potato tempura, Pão de Queijo, Corn Empada, Tudo Chocolate
Average dishes: Octopus moqueca, Scalops, Temaki
Bellow average dishes:...Meloso Rice - super saltyMore
I wish I could give this restaurant a 3.5 star rating, because I don’t think it rates a 4 but neither does it fall to the level of 3. We have eaten in dozens of Michelin-starred restaurants and were very excited to try one in...South America. We booked the Chef’s Table, largely based upon our positive experiences in other restaurants; however, as another reviewer noted, not once did the cooking staff engage us. While the food was tasty and well-presented, the wine pairing was uninspired. The highlight of our beverage service was when we asked a question about cachaça, and we were treated to a tasting and explanation by someone well-versed in the topic. The ambience in the restaurant was lacking due to substandard decor and the less-than-casual attire of many of the diners. The cuisine might rate a star, but nothing else does.More

The restaurant has basically Menu prices. It has a full menu and a smaller one. The price is basically the international price for a two-star Michelin restaurant. I ate the smaller one and I can tell you that is a lot of food. Fantastic and surprising food.
