Visited here with a couple of friends for the first time. The food we had was delicious but what made us go contented were the surroundings there. Looking forward to visiting again very soon. Especially Recommended for families and friends.

Tokyo Sushi is the absolute worst restaurant in Ashburn. The new Korean owner is extremely rude, the sushi is terrible. This place is very different, in a bad way, from the way it was under the prior owners. The "all you can eat special is...a rip off. They double the amount of rice per piece of sushi and make the piece of fish smaller. If you don't eat the rice, you get charged by the piece, after the fact. Dishonest and contemptuous business practice. The sushi itself is terrible. This is the worst review I've ever had to write, but I really want to warn people about this place.More
This poor excuse for a restaurant features a deceptive lunch special for all-you-can-eat sushi. Here's the deal, they put the thinnest piece of fish that can be sliced on a gigantic ball of rice and if you can't finish the plate they charge you $2...for each ball of rice that you couldn't shove down without losing your lunch! The owner then has the nerve to say we were warned of this insanity because she posted a tiny sign on the wall behind me of their policy. The former owners knew how to run a restaurant but not these morons.More
I experience very negligent service, no explanations and a particularly unappetizing meal that was very overpriced.
So, this sushi restaurant gets measured against my favorite; a tough act to follow. Stopped here because I was getting into a rut with Italian (Bertucci's). I was most absolutely not disappointed. My wife will love this place. The meal was absolutely delectable. If somebody...pressed me to come up with a criticism - it would have to be that the sushi chef could hone his artistry skills. That's it - otherwise, Tokyo Sushi compares favorably well with my favorite, Daikichi in Chesapeake. Atmosphere is very good although the music didn't strike me as Japanese, although it was very relaxing and set the mood for my meal. The sushi and sashimi were superb; very, very fresh. Tokyo Sushi gets a 4.9 out of 5.We will be back.More
My husband and I were looking for a new sushi place, and we came upon this on Google. What a charming, little place. The staff couldn't be friendlier and they made all of the sushi fresh. We loved the eclectic menu and the different types...of options compared to the typical Asian fusion sushi places. After ordering, they brought us complementary salads and miso soup, so good! Then the plate of sushi was absolutely enormous! So much value and the quality is top notch. Really loved this little Japanese sushi cafe.More
All you can eat sushi at a great price that's also one of the highest quality I've ever had? UM YES PLEASE.
We have been to Tokyo Sushi several times since the new management and chef took over, and found they have really improved the the sushi quality and service. Frankly, it's now the best sushi we've found in all of the DC area and we've been...to many restaurants as sushi fanatics. The fish is very fresh, high quality and sushi portions large. They also have great lunch specials.More
We have been here before, and the food was not good. But when we saw that there was a new chef, we decided to give it another try. The food was very disappointing, despite reviews that the food had improved. The sushi rice was not...fresh and had no taste, as well as the broth in my udon noodles. Even with a Groupon, it was not worth it, and we definitely will not be back.More
I recently just moved to Ashburn and was looking for a sushi restaurant near by and between this and another location, this was a better option. The prices are average, not much of a different in prices for sushi but maybe a couple cents more...than I've paid before. The restaurant gave me more of a homey-feel and the staff was super friendly. This will be the only sushi restaurant in Ashburn that I will order from.More
