Café Rosso is one of the most unique coffee shops in Swakopmund. It is the only top class coffee shop with a play area in Swakopmund. It has a great variety on its menu. On top of that, their lunch buffets are out of this...world. Offering comfort foods and a nice variety as well. The staff is very friendly and food is served fast. The fire place makes it very special during cold days. Always worth visiting.More

I work around the corner and decided to stop in for a quick lunch. And it was that. Quick. We ordered two cappuccinos to start then browsed the menu. We ordered two cajun chicken wraps and the arrived promptly. They were fresh delicious and big...with great presentation. The chips I had were crisp and nicely seasoned and the salad fresh. We will be back next week.More

Cafe Rosso has does not have the usual and typical coffee shop cozy type atmosphere, but is still is very nice, nothing wrong with it. It of course has the kiddies play area which is its trump card over other coffee shops. There are slides...and all sort of climbing apparatuses and obstacles for kids to climb and play on. Location is a bit out of town, but closer to the suburbs which is convenient. Service was not superb, even though it was not very busy. I have observed other tables getting better service, so I may have caught our waitress on a bad day. They do have a couple of big screens which is handy to watch some sports while the kids have a play. We had Cream cappuccinos and and assortment of toasted sandwiches. It was delivered swiftly without a long wait. All was very tasty, fresh and definitely good enough to recommend to anyone.More

My wife and I have made it a custom to have coffee together at least every Friday. Living in Swakopmund, the small café capital of the world (in my opinion anyway,) we have many options. However, nestled in the industrial area, away from the almost...always tourist flooded coffee shops, is our favourite coffee shop: Café Rosso. We always enjoy our time here. As a matter of fact I find this place so peaceful that I often start to yawn when we are seated and wait for our order. No, not because it is so boring, but because it is so peaceful: Infusing me with a sense of ease and tranquility. The service is great. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food has always been spot on, delightful and worthwhile. The café offers daily lunch buffets and a Friday lunch “braai”. To top this, the prices are very reasonable. The very securely enclosed children’s area is of course a very big plus for all parents – and grandparents – with small children. Needless to say that all locals should make a point of getting to Café Rosso at least once a week. Let the children play, take some weight of your feet and enjoy the time. But the tourists may also venture from the beaten track to enjoy the unique setting of Café Rosso. To all at Café Rosso: Thank you for your friendly, quality service. Keep up the good work.More
