If you want to get close to an elephant, please go here! What an incredible experience! Look into this place and you will see why! You can feed the elephants and know you are supporting them. The cafe was delicious and the drink were tasty! Can be dressed up for a high tea or come after the falls (we did)... More

We took the boat from our hotel to the Elephant Cafe, so much fun with the sun glistening on the water plus elephant and hippo sightings. Wow what a way to start an evening. When we got there we were greeted by the general manager, elephant keepers and 3 beautiful elephants which we got to interact with and feed, then... More

It was a really treat for us to go to the Elephant Cafe as it is not cheap but we loved it!!! We took the boat which I would highly recommend as it was the perfect start and end to the experience!! Feeding the elephants and chatting to the keepers was the reason for going and we all loved it!!... More

From the minute we arrived and were introduced to the four elephants who were chosen to greet us, or for us just to feed them - all a good experience, to the well informed staff, to the absolutely amazing lunch prepared by Annabel and her staff from mainly locally sourced foods, to the excellent service provided.... a must if you... What a trip! Definitely get the boat to get there - lots of little rapids and an excellent driver,. Saw lots of hippos on our way there and back There is nothing really to say that hasn't been said before. It is an excellent experience - the elephants and the food were stupendous.

The owner of the lodge we were staying at in Livingstone recommended lunch at the Elephant Cafe and I'm so glad we took his advice. The river level was too high to take the speedboat ride down the river, but that did mean we had time in the morning to fit in an activity and again in the late afternoon,... More

This was without doubt the highlight of our four days on both sides of the Falls. The combination of the exhilarating speed boat transfer up the Zambesi spotting hippos and crocs along the way, together with meeting the elephants at the venue, and Annabel's stunning food is a magnificent combination. A must do, and though pricey, is money very well... More

After a disappointing meal on a different tourist attraction in Livingstone, our B&B host suggested that if we were looking for great food we should try this place. We were picked up from our accommodation, taken on a jet boat( safari like as we saw Hippos, crocodiles and elephants in the water) and delivered to the Elephant Cafe. Greeted at... More

On our recent dream trip to Zambia, I stumbled upon an advertisement for a new restaurant that had been receiving rave reviews. It read: “The Elephant Café: Take a speedboat transfer up to the venue with hippo sightings along the way, interact with elephants on the banks of the Zambezi River and dine on African fusion food, created with wild... We were a group of 12 family and friends who had spent 2 weeks travelling around Zimbabwe and Zambia and for our last evening we wanted something very special. We had been recommended the Elephant Cafe and although at first seemed a bit pricey it was an experience that was worth every penny. On arrival we met and interacted with... More
