Overrated place. I used to visit it often. I do not know what exactly happened, but their standards went below to average. And their prices remained high above average.

Enjoyed a dinner at the Locanda restaurant offering a fine assorti of northern Arabic cuisine. Chef Rami certainly knows how to take the basically peasant dishes and elevate it to a totally different level.

We had the Kubbeh, Arancini, chicken risotto and Arais. All dishes were tastefully presented and very yummy. Traditional but with a twist. Also, quite generous servings. Excellent and friendly service. Re some previous comments, we were asked our seating preferences when we made the reservation,...and were told about smoking in the outside area.More

Went there for breakfast, food was ok, The waitress gave us attitude though, I asked for bread that should’ve come with the meal many times and It was never served , I left disappointed.

Been for Friday dinner with family. First were sitted where smoking was so heavy we couldn't breathe (when making reservation NO ONE asked us as to preferences). Ordered kids menu, and on recommendation made by waiter: one chicken pizza, shrimp romano, pepper stake and Lavrak...fish land/sea. Kids menu was OK, the chicken pizza was OK just that the "special" tomato sauce was plain tomato concentrate, the 4 very small pieces of fish laid on rice that so acidic in flavor that it couldn't be eaten and the pepper stake was covered with too much pepper that masked the meat's taste. For dessert came cream brolle with no vanilla grains on bottom which means it was not that "real". For a whopping 500 ILS for 2 adults + 2 kids it's simply way overrated.More

situated in a hotel lobby the restaurant offer good atmosphere. Starters were great, we have had 5 or 6 different ones. The main courses were not that great. I was sue the kebab would be a traditional one, instead it was a dried dense meatball...We also had a beef fillet stripes and it was quite bad as well. Deserts were quite good. Huge potentialMore

Everything is top notch from the food to the service... atmosphere is amazing with good music and energy... they offer a very interesting menu, food is fresh, nicely prepared with fair prices. The place is run by a very very kind and talented Chef ELIAS...MATTAR. Have to say I also had an event there recently, to which I invited a lot of people, everyone was pleased from the very delicious and special food, and from the kind service.More
