Hands-on owner/manager. Attentive servers. Delicious food. Original dishes. Cozy cave feel but banquet room in back easily fits our extended family of 80. Back to the service aspect where everything begins and ends: Lightning fast, unobtrusive. I knew we were in for a memorable evening...when I saw the owner give last-minute instructions in a quick huddle with the servers.More

Excellent homemade food and the two most welcoming owners . Highly recommended the tiny dolma dish, the tabouleh salad and the local saucages served with a fantastic sauce. Really enjoyed the atmosphere inside this historic building found in the heart of holy Nazaret.

let's start with servie. You have to ask 3 times for a jug of water...Once empty, no one asks if you wish to refill. Then you order a breakfast (actually 2 different) with 2 eggs each. One gets her eggs, the other does not. Upon...asking you are told that since those are 2 eggs, they should have shared. Checking on the menu you see that it is about 2 eggs each. Finally you get the 2 missing eggs with the coffee (almost). Tabulee was horribly acid and took me a few hours to overcome that. The "avocado" salad was ok but no much more. Finally, a jug of lemonade costs (only) 35 shekels. Come on! My recommendation: Avoid that placeMore

Avra is the best restaurant in Nazareth. Great food, best wine, local beer. A place that has its own unique atmosphere. The interior is very pleasant. Outdoor tables surrounded by colorful lights. Very good service. Professional. Waiters very nice. Alex deserves a mention. Alex is...cheerful, smiling, funny and very nice. Alex works with passion ... He perfectly cares about customer service standards. You can see that he likes his job. It can great encourage customers to try new food flavors. We were a large group in this restaurant. There was a common place for everyone. We sat together. I really recommend this place. If you have any questions, write on priv. Well done Avra. Well done waiters. Well done Alex the best of the best.More
