Overall a good dining experience
We had 2 cocktails to start, followed by beef carpaccio and then shrimps zucchetti fresh cherry tomatoes spaghetti on one side and a turkey filet baked with mozzarella on top, accompanied by a bottle of Pinot Grigio
The taste was...excellent. I personally found it a pity to have only four little shrimps in the spaghetti dish, would have expected more.
My partner found the turkey filet overcooked but did not seem to be more bothered than that.
The Portions were generous in quantity.
I had to stand up and pour the wine by myself with our glasses already empty for a while but the waiter not coming back up from the other rooms.
Not a big deal but should not happen...especially when it was not very crowdy.
The best surprise was the live band who covered famous songs in the top floor, which acts as a little club. Great atmosphere and we had a blast without having to go to a night club.
Bottom line : I would go back again when I am back in BelgradeMore
Our second time in Vila Maska, and again, we had great time. The food is delicious, great atmosphere and very interesting interior. Great place for couples, bussiness lunch or just quick break from long walks in Belgrade. Nicely served dishes Only reason I didn't give...all 5 dots is a little bit slow service, or better say, we wait for our food a little bit longer than it's acceptable for my standards. Despite that, we will definitly return to MaskaMore
It is nice villa for a break if you are in neighborhood of St.Sava church. The service is pretty good and atmosphere is cosy. If the weather is nice you will enjoy in the garden. We took the drink and coffee which were ok.
Since I visited this restaurant in winter, I couldn't enjoy the garden (which I think must be relaxing to experience it). First of all, be aware that the portions are very big. Actually, most of the restaurants in Belgrade serve big portions, but this place's...portions were kind of more than the Belgrade-average. The meals were delicious (although I waited around 30 mins after my order), but a nicer thing is the selection of drinks: they have a wide range of wines, you can definitely find your favorite wine here. Staff is helpful, kind, talks in English. Prices are higher than the average. It is close to the St. Sava Temple, so the location is not hard to find.More
This unique restaurant-bar is definitely one of the best in the City! the whole environment is beautiful, the food is just delicious, the choices for a good drink are too many, the people here are helpful and show great profesionalism, the design is cozy and...rare for such a place (with paintings, mirrors, colours, vintage furniture and elegant details), the garden is wonderful and finally, if you are lucky you will probably watch a live music band! it' s worth a visit!More
I am working in Serbia at the moment so I will be trying out Serbian restaurant's for some time now. I came here since this place had good reviews and the hotel also recommend this restaurant. It was a Wednesday and I arrived around 8...in the evening. It was empty I was the only guest. The interior is a bit strange but nothing to complain about. Service was good but slow. I had a chicken medallion with mushroom sauce. It looked good (see picture) but the taste was bad. The sauce had a strange taste and the chicken tasted burned and was overcooked. I also need to comment on the menue. There where far to much on it like they have no focus. Í also had Serbian wine I continue to try the local wine but it does not affect my rating. In the end I asked if I cold get some cheese to go with the wine as a desert. The waiter which was very frendly "new exactly " what I wanted and brought me a plate with cheese and many other things, there was a taste of vinegar on the grapes, the cheese was ok but the plate was overwhelming. Over all this was ok but not special and to expensive. I do not think I will be coming back.More
