Disappointed with the pizza. I liked that it was thin crust but it needed more time to crisp and had little to no sauce. I love a lot of cheese, but this was just thick and bland with no taste. The ingredients were sparse. In...sum, it was poor pizza. On the plus side, nice service and central location.More

Whilst we loved Puerto Varas we found it difficult to find restaurants which served Chilean Food, the lady serving us spoke good english and was able to suggest a dish for us, and also recommend beers. Its a small bar with a good atmosphere -...would recommend a visit here.More

Craving pizza and wandering around central Varas, we stepped into 'Parentesis' and instantly the scent had us! Smells of a true pizza/Italian kitchen, we sat at a booth and noticed they had the array of 'Chester beers' on tap. Things were getting better! Perusing the...menu we noticed: a good variety of vegetarian (and other) pizzas, some tempting pastas, and a few salad choices. When we noticed how large the pizzas were, we opted to just share one with no add-ons. Good choice as: A) it was delicious, and B) we each ate our share, and had a few pieces left over for the next day's post-hike lunch!More

My wife enjoyed her salad. It looked good. I had a pork dish with fries and cheese. It was awful. The pork was completely dry, the fries were frozen, not fresh. It was just a big mess. I have to say finding good food in...Chile has prove a clallenge for me!More

Excellent food, service and location! The Pizza was an absolut thin-crust-blast and we had some red wine simmered beef with mushroom risotto and homemade pesto. They serve 8 different local beers on tap and lots of great other non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Super easy...and stylish location with smooth music, fast WIFI and comfortable seats. Would love to come back!More

Only pizzas and pastas, both very good. Informal place, no decoration, but good location in town. During good weather one could eat outdoors.

Stopped in for a couple of drinks after dinner. The place was fairly busy, always a good sign. It had a bit of a feel of a neighbourhood bar. Only found the spot the last night in town.

I tried the menu. Soup was ok, pasta was horrible. Sauce and pasta cooked separate, and I could not eat them together. But the worst was the service. In the bill, sparkling water was charged 3000 CLP (330ml). I thought it was too much. I...told the waitress to me it was very expensive. She had a look at the bill, laughed and said 'well, yes it is expensive'. I was stunned. Then I realised they had charged me the 750ml bottle while doing a detailed review of the bill. I asked her to double check, and then she corrected it.She provided some sort of excuse, regarding an older product they had. No more laughs. I do not recommend this restaurant. I wish I hadn't provided the tip.More

I have been here twice and would not go again. I ordered pasta and it looked like it had been cooked hours ago, with the worst pesto I had ever tried.

This was a spontaneous drop in on Friday night. A table upstairs for 2 was available. Simply a large pizza for 2 and a bottle of Carmenere wine. Pizza is not something I eat more than twice a year, but in my opinion this was...a good one!More

We happened upon this place on our way back from spending our afternoon at the beer festival at the old station, and in need of something tasty and filling. We shared a vegetarian pizza which was tasty and with a very thin base. It fitted...the bill at the time, but otherwise was not overly special.More

Service is bad. No menu provided when we sat down. After 10 minutes I grapped some menus myself. After 10 more minutes still no waiter asking for drinks (Yes it eas busy but handing out menu to arriving customers is something basic to do). We...left without orders taken. Waiter was downstairs doing stupid stuff with computer. They can/must do better..More

Went here for dinner and had the salmon and lasagna, both of which were okay but nothing special. However service was terrible. When we walked in nobody served us. We had to ask gor menus to be brought after waiting for 10 minutes and then...call over the waiter to order. Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive and then hAd to get the waiters attention to order dinner, dessert and ask for the bill. Could be an okay restaurant if service wasn't so badMore
