Subo Restaurant's facade was quite warm and inviting. We can overhear the live band from the inside. And so for our last night in Boracay, we wanted to have a worthwhile dinner. We decided to have it here at Subo. When the food attendant took...our order, we started to feel uncomfortable because she wasn't very welcoming and the way she talked was cold. She seems irritated. Nakasimangot. We decided not to mind her because we just want to have quality time. The menu was pricey but we assumed that the serving will somehow be worth it. But when the food came, it was the WORST FOOD EXPERIENCE we had in the island. E.g. buttered shrimp for P450 amounts only to 6pcs of SMALL SHRIMPS. We ordered two of this..boo!👎🏼 This restaurant is too pricey for its selfish servings! Not to mention the unpleasant food attendant. If you have the money and you want to enjoy, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Subo is a NO NO. We did not bother to complain bec we don't want any stress. We just ate quietly, paid our bill of P8500++ and left. Do not be deceived by the reviews and the "warm facade" of this overrated restaurant. REALLY NOT WORTH IT.👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼More

First off, the staff, Liza and the others were very nice and accomodating especially with my friend's gluten allergy. We had tomahawk lechon kawali and seafood fried rice and they were yummy. Highly recommended when you're on Boracay!

Great restaurant with lots of vegetarian options, Sharon and Briant were super nice and helped us with the dishes since I'm lactose intolerant. Also tried Lechee juice which was perfect. The restaurant has a special traditional Filipino design.

We had a lovely experience, entrees came out first with drinks and the mains following in a timely fashion. We also viewed a lovely traditional dance by the waiters. Would come back again
