The facility, meals, staff are excellent but they need to improve on the bathroom floor. The tiles are too slippery and I almost fell down as I was leaving the bath tub after shower. The room TV clarity is wanting. If they improve on the...above two issues, the rest are okay.More

I was only able to have two meals with the hotel restaurant, but both were delicious. My first night in Nairobi I had a late dinner. Room service was quite courteous and Kwiek to provide my order. I had the butter chicken with spring rolls...to start. My Tasker was cold and the food was absolutely delicious. The following day I left early for the Parks but was able to take some fresh fruit with me from the hotel, which I appreciated very much. Returning for lunch I had a Buffay, which was reasonably priced and quite tasty.More

I was amazed by the soft spoken staffs with the right kind of professional attitude. What impressed me was the staff who came back to us within a minute to rectify her mistake about a dish. Ambiance is good. We ended well.

I stayed at the Panari when my flight from the Nairobi airport was cancelled. The hotel is over 10 years old, and one can see that its glorious days are behind it. Firstly, it is on Mombasa road, which is close to the airport and...a plus. There is so much going on in the hotel's compound- chinese shopping store, banks etc, the feeling of exclusivity isn't there. The reception doesn't look warm and welcoming, its rather dark. Granted, the rooms are spacious, but the furnishing looks very Chinese, but probably Chinese products that are better quality. Cleanliness is an issue. I found soap that had been used by the previous guest in the bathroom- disgusting. TV has some channels, shower is ok. Sleep quality was ok. Breakfast was a good spread. I would recommend you take a room facing the National Park. The views are impressive. I had a massage and made use of the sauna and it was amazing. I think they pride themselves as a business hotel (Kenya Airways books their business class passengers here), but it is far from a good business hotel. I would say accommodation and the general feel of the hotel is sub-standard and clearly cleanliness is an issue!More

If you don't want the hustle and bustle of NAIROBI city consider this hotel. It's located on Mombasa Road. The exquisite ambience of the hotel makes you feel warm. The conference facility is fine too.

We arrived late afternoon wanted to park in the basement due to the impending rains, we had kids. Met by security staff who didn't even want to hear what our needs were. The message was clear: they just didn't gi e a damn about us....We proceed to the ice rink. Two adults and two kids. Our youngest child is 3years old. I object to buying a ticket for him, because he is still too young and doesn't even skate. As soon as we start skating the child wants to come to us, obviously. Because we just couldn't leave him out there unattended, we were forced to pay for an extra ticket for him. HE WASN'T SKATING. Lord, it wasn't such a great experience for a mom. My needs were neglected and completely overlooked. My child was crying so much abd clearly not having a great time at all, never mind that we had paid for an hour of fun. Needless to say, i left the rink early to tend to the needs of my child. I felt ripped off. To imagine that there was even a place where our 3 year old could have played and felt comfortable, yet none of the staff even suggested. I learnt of it when we were on our way home. I complained to the Icerink Manager and she just didn't seem to care. Its like i was tlking to the wall. Then i proceeded to talk to the hotel's guest relations lady named Caroline. She listened and promised to get back to me in a matter of minutes. Up to now, i haven't heard from her. Just goes to show how wanting the customer service at Panari really is. It is anything but customer focused.More
