Cafe Noir has a good reputation in Tel Aviv although I've never eaten in the restaurant. Today, I ordered a delivery lunch for two via Wolt. Curry, veal schnitzel and salanova salad. NIS 191. The delivery was quick (we live 2 minutes away by motorbike)...but all the food was very nearly cold. In terms of the curry, the sauce was OK (from a Blue Elephant packet I believe) but the vegetables were raw except for the leftover roast potatoes. The veal schnitzel was tasty but cold and dry and the chips tasted re-heated and were also cold. The salad was just a collection of large leaves although the vinaigrette was OK. Really, this food is bad value for money and, quite frankly, almost inedible.More

Venturing out for lunch now lockdown has lifted, we booked at Cafe Noir, an old favorite, tried and tested. We were not disappointed. Thoroughly recommend the polenta and mushroom starter and the veal schnitzel. The burger was delish too. No-nonsense good, fresh food. Excellent friendly...service. You get what you pay for!More

This stylish restaurant located in the heart of Tel Aviv. It offers delicious food, great service and happy atmosphere. Great choice of dishes, including vegetarians, good wine list, great fast service. We were sitting on the bar and the bartender gave as special attantion and...was very friendly and welcoming. The atmospjere was happy and energatic. The prices are reasonable. Great choice, if you are in the area! Make a reservation in advance. The place is busy during the lunchtime, evenings and weekends. Enjoy!More

I never thought anyone would serve pork rare. Yuck. To make things worse, the "steak knife" was as dull as a spoon. I won't be back.

It takes about 35 min to deliver. I ordered chicken with onions, rice and season veggies which was cauliflower. The chicken and flavor was quite tasty as well as the rice. The cauliflower was kind of flat. Will order again.

My wife and I decided to enjoy our lunch together (after the Covid19 ) with a well known restaurant nearby her work. When we went there we had temperature checked (Fine!!) and sat inside the restaurant. the waiter gave us the wine menu and a...small paper (later we learnt that it was link to the main menu). We asked for two specials ( A fish dish and Pasta dishes). Both dishes came after very long time ( we started to ask ourselves if the staff is going to Japan for the fish or to Italy for the pasta...) After a bout 30 min the dishes came. The pasta with crude meat was too oily and my fish dish was just an average . We did not wast to wait for another half an hour in order to replace our food, we left there, knowing that there is slim chance we visit again. Following the economic situation after the Covid19, I sympathies with the restaurants that were closed for three months, therefore i gave them three stars and not less.More

Cafe Noir is a stylish bistro in the heart of old Tel Aviv. The food is extremely tasty. We were a group of six, so I was able to try a variety of different dishes. Their appetizers and main courses are delicious. Also, I would...recommend the chocolate fondant for dessert. One of the best I’ve had! If you’re choosing a bottle of red wine, the Fellini by Sea Horse winery was an excellent choice. It was also very reasonably priced. I would advise making a reservation as it gets quite busy especially on the weekend.More

Prior to our visit to Tel Aviv for the NYE, all I heard was: they don't even celebrate, the Jewish New Year is some other time, nothing happens on December 31, etc. Of course, Tel Aviv celebrated and we had the opportunity to do it...in great style. At noon, December 31 we had no idea what to do for the evening (after many "sorry, we are fully booked") but, somehow, our steps brought us to Cafe Noir for a coffee 😁. There, we found out they organize a special NYE special dinner and there is one table for 3 left... We took it. When we arrived, the restaurant was full, very elegant and ready to offer us a stylish dinner. I had a special dish, a goose rotollo paired with a Cote du Rhone red, excellent wine- one of those dinners you never forget...followed by the yummiest dessert. The ambiance, the food, the service: everything was exquisite and provided us with great Tel Aviv memories of a superb new year!More

don't think so. Place doesn't look to me as the most appropriate restaurant for this kind of event but it is worth contacting them. Cafe Noir is really a nice place
