What to say. A basic restaurant as far as interior etc but ..... who cares. The food is so Fresh as it jumps from the sea directly on your plate. We had a great dinner with all the sea can offer like prawns, grouper, seabass,...crab, squid ..... you name it and it was on the table. I enjoyed it so much. So if you go to Brunei and you love seafood .... go go go. I paid roughly 33 Bdollar per person. Real value for money for believe.More

This is the best seafood restaurant in Brunei for sure. All kinds of seafood dishes, spicy and tasty.

Good seafood with your own fresh pick. Lots of seating indoor. Need to put up some deco to enlighten the dining area. Pretty good service. A bit too noisy by the staffs cleaning and chatting. Parking lot need to be properly organise. Otherwise good overall.

One thing i hate is the environment! The tables were so near to each other. Came with a group of international bikers friends and so not recommended.. will visit again for the food but with a smaller group.

Loved the Salted Egg Yolk Squid! It's located beside the local fish market and overseeing the beach. But you won't see much if you go at night.

Revisited Neptune after over a year, to find it had greatly expanded, to now include 3 Restaurant zones plus upstairs. It appears they now have regular foreign tour groups clientele. Sat in one of the new halls. Service was slow & ineffective, ambience lacking; &...seafood eg fish whilst fresh, wasn’t prepared & cooked well. It was also overly salty. I much prefer the Sari Wangi Seafood Restaurant located at Jerudong Theme Park nearby. Unimpressed.More

Located near the ocean, the seafood is as fresh as expected. Prices of the raw seafood is however are several times fold what they're being sold to knowledgeable people at the wet market close by. Place has been expanded greatly from the original cosy house...and outside seating to include two larger buildings supposably to accommodate busloads of tourists and other group bookings such as for events. The cooked food is just ok, nice enough taste but there's better seafood elsewhere. Serving sizes depend on the price you're willing to pay. Most times we've eaten there some flies buzzing around so pretty annoying. Souvenir shop right next to the outside seating area seems aimed at the mainland Chinese tourists who are taken by the busload to the restaurant by the travel agent(s) as among the items sold and advertised via scrolling light sign are ginseng, "incence raw materials", and very cheap quality Brunei souvenir shirts. Advice to tourists going there is just eat there because hopefully it's all included in your tour package but save your money to shop elsewhere for quality souvenirs that you won't be embarrassed to give out or keep for yourselves and will last much longer than a month or two.More

Slow service, mediocre food. Okra was bland, The so-called kailan was undercooked and underwhelming. Prawns looked and tasted like they had been rolled in the sand before cooking and the lemon chicken had been so deep-fried you had to chip the crust off to find...the meat. Apparently the crab was excellent, but unfortunately I don't eat it. I suspect that if you like seafood, this is the place. If you don't, prepare to be disappointed.More
