Jai Fai is definitely not a typical one start Michelin restaurant but more a typical Bangkok street kitchen. But the food is fantastic. Every single meal is cooked by the owner, Jai Fai, and although she not seems very happy about the Michelin star, the...More

Definitely worth it, even though it is eye blisteringly expensive by local standards. The trick to avoiding waiting for hours is to book in advance on the phone. Failing that, arrive early, put your name on the list and have a drink in the next...More

We arrived at 10.20pm and tried our luck with putting our name on the booking list even though it had been indicated the restaurant was fully booked about 3 rows before us. Considering it was our last night in Bangkok and Jay Fai was one...More

To avoid the queues and to get your preferred time slot, you should book at least 2 weeks in advance. The crab omelette and drunken noodles are very good. Prices are higher than they should be but the quality is there. Also, the service is...More

Verry verry good food. Long waiting and high prices... But worth it for sure. We had the omlett and some stir fried noodles with vegetables and it was extreamly good. She Gas verry high prices for Bangkok but she is verry good.

So just a few things, the restaurant technically starts the seating at 2:30pm. They are opened all the way until 12am. They set up a table outside and they allow you to sign up for "walk-ins" at around 1pm. We got there at 1:30pm, signed...More

My response to all those complaining about the wait. Be reasonable. Jay Fai cooks all the dishes served. She’s in her 70s (age) so prepare yourself to either wait all day and night or... plan several months ahead and definitely make a reservation!!! Or expect...More

The wait time is too long. We arrive at 1:30pm and got serve at 6:10pm. The price is not worth the food and wait time. You can find other food shop that serves better than jay fai. Not recommended 😩
