We had coffee and Mexican omelet, we got bread toast; bread was very old and bad taste. But omelet was good. Spicy and good taste. Location is good, serving staffs are very good. Also they have accommodation facilities “Potala guest house” seems it’s a good...place to stay.More

Stayed there 3 nights and had breakfast there once - it was delicious! Staff were also attentive and helpful. On the day we had to leave very early, they packed a breakfast set of us which was simple but still yummy!

Perfectly nice food, perhaps a somewhat bland experience. Western trendy music on stereo which many will like, but not what I'd want in Kathmandu. Food nice, though a little nondescript. Staff outstanding, friendly, not intrusive, attentive. Overall a very pleasant place to eat but doesn't...feel to have much identity :(More

One of the only restaurants that was open during the festival. Has good free wifi. Great, friendly and fast service. Delicious food served fresh. Customizable food for dietary restrictions. Had well marked vegetarian options and some vegan options. Overall great experience.

Very friendly and good customer service. Good food and beautiful ambiance with indoor (AC) and outdoor seatings. We had Buff shabaley, chicken thentuk, chicken Momo and emadatsi-- everything was true to it's authentic recipe. Oh and no they don't use MSG. Yes we would definitely go...back to try other yummies.More

This place is attached to Potala Guesthouse & is great if you’re not quite ready to head out into the chaos of the whole Thamel experience. Prices are reasonable for this Western style restuarant where you can get meals all day. The menu has Nepali...options & they are delicious. Some staff are great, awake, switched on, professional. Others seem to maybe be in training & almost fearful to serve customers. The food is very good, big courtyard for outdoor dining, prices reasonable. Three star rating is only due to some of the staff experience. Would visit again.More

I don't expect alot from western food in Nepal but this place definitely served me the worst burger I have ever had (still not convinced it was meat). Even the Tibetan food was oily and overly filled with onions and other fillers. Just all around...low quality.More

Eight of us had dinner, ordering all sorts of dishes at 7:45pm. My son ordered the priciest item on the menu, a tenderloin steak with veg and potato. The waiter wrote down everything, then came back and confirmed all the orders. All the food was served...within 30 minutes except the steak. After 55 minutes we were all finishing up and asked where the steak was. The waiter went to the kitchen, came back with a sorry, and said please wait 3 minutes. Ten minutes later the steak was served (9pm). I ate his tomato, so we can rule that out as the source of the illness. No one else at the table got sick. At 1 am my son woke up and ran to the bathroom were he vomited for 10 minutes. At 5 am it happened again. He took some stomach meds and drank water and stayed in bed until 3pm. By 7pm he was able to eat some soup and go to the airport. All classic signs of food poisoning, and since he only drinks bottled water and ate nothing for lunch the previous day except peanuts and oreos (he is a teen), we blame the steak. Ironic that after ten days in Nepal he gets sick on the priciest item at a upper-range restaurant. I visited the bistro and made a complaint. I got a couple of sorries out of them (more for the poor service than the bad steak), but they told me the manager was not working that day, and they didn’t seem it serious enough to call him/her. For me, a call to the manager or asking for my number to call me back with an apology (and perhaps a refund on the steak) would have been the right moves.More
