We decided to try out the Bombay Lounge at East Park. It is pricey as it is one of the higher end restaurants that we have been to in Lusaka. The dishes were excellent, deeply complex. The tandoori kebab was bith succulent and savory. The chicken tikka masala had a robust, smokey flavor. My lamb with spicey onion and tomato sauce was by far my favorite. The presentation was strong. Would advise that you should consider splitting dishes unless you have a healthy appetite. And you definitely only need one rice for every two dishes. Loved the mango lassi, as well. Server could be more attentive, but I struggle with this issue everywhere in Lusaka.

It's been three years since we've been in town and we decided to come right back for the food at this restaurant. The food is so flavorful at Bombay Lounge, cooked to perfection and spice level. Our bellies were empty famished so we asked for something quick to order. We were advised to order the chicken lollipop drumettes, a dish far superior to chicken wings. They were delicious with a perfect moist chicken and a flavorful, crispy outer coating. The mains were equally good, with a strong tandoori chicken and my dish -- with a name I can't recall -- had this amazing minced, minty chicken with something akin to chicken tikka/vindaloo fusion in the middle. It was a house special that I would order every time. We both had plenty to take away and ate it for dinner one night instead of going out to eat. While part of the atmosphere can't be controlled entirely, given the mall setting, one challenge with the setting, is that people meander in to the eating area. It is advisable to keep bags and pursues close. While we've had no trouble, the waiters warn of problems.

Charming waiting-on staff (Mary) but awful food. Mutton curry in a thick gravy, very poor naan (including a peshwari version devoid of filling); in all not a culinary experience to be repeated. Added to which the credit card machine, unusually for Zambia, insisted on charging the bill in Sterling as the card is British.

They probably have the best Indian food in town. They are located at Pinnacle Mall, East park Mall etc which makes it easy to get to from either ends of the city.

I tried out this restaurant as I saw it listed as one of the top 10 places to eat in Lusaka, Zambia. I was already at East Park Mall so it was a great opportunity. Their service is not what I expected but it wasn't bad either. The food, however, was impressive. I tried their mutton curry with nahn bread. The curry is charged separate to an accompanying staple, so you'll get am extra charge for rice or bread - which I found odd. No matter. My favourite thing about the meal is that they have a miniature coal cast where they keep your curry in a zinc/copper pot to stay hot. As a result your curry stays warm for as long as you want it to. That was refreshing for me. The nahn bread was best when crispy & not on some parts where it was quite chewy. Their cocktails are also alright, I had the sex on the beach as well as their long island ice tea. All in all that cost me K330 without the tip. The curry was K130 with the cocktails going at about K78 & K88. Oh! One thing I found annoying was how they were sweeping & cleaning by my feet at some point, in my culture that's a no no. Also, why didn't they use the opportunity where no customers were seated in the outside section to clean up instead of cleaning while customers are seated & eating? The waiters looked relaxed & mine only checked on me about twice or thrice. It is a good spot though.

We ordered two different Indian chicken meals with roti, the flavour of the food was amazing. I would definately recommend the butter chicken. My colleague ordered a steak which was just as good.

An excellent place to dine in. At the East Park Mall. With an outdoor area to relax and eat. The best dish is Malai Chicken Kebab.
