I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who would like to try tradtional indigenous local African food. The owners are very passionate about food. Ask to see the cookbook, it is very interesting. The best thing about this place is that they cater for vegetarians and vegans. They are even planning on doing 2 vegan nights per week. I will definitely come visit again. Thank you!

Among an unstoppable wave fast-foods mushrooming in aseptic & boring malls, this is a refreshing experience. Coming from Mozambique, it's been the third time in five years for me to join and enjoy Mrs. Dolores inspired cuisine. This time she cooked and served everything by herself, so we also had the opportunity to have a nice chat with her. Mrs Dolores counts on the resources available in the area to offer simple, homely taste dishes. She is member of the Slowfood movement, that believes in a sustainable catering, a return to traditional cuisine linked to what the territory can offer. Expect portions in the size that will allow you to try several proposals from the kitchen -and enjoy them all! We could not finish everything though! From the restaurant, one can take a walk in the hilly tracks around, or just relax or play with children in the garden. It's off the beaten track in Swaziland, though easily connected to the main road. Under Covid time booking is highly recommended.

Delicious meal in a real Swazi restaurant. With delicious traditional dishes that have been given a twist to the present time. Nice ambiance (it's hard to find) and well worth it. The chef, Dolores, has also cooked for Queen Elizabeth of England and received a mention in a special cookbook because of her.

The restaurant looked nice and the ladies were also friendy. They however already started without giving us a menu and charging us a high price of 250 rand per person for some traditional dishes. Later when getting the bill, this amount suddenly changed into 350 rand per person.. The food was nice, but I just don't like being scammed like that..

Food is good but very overpriced. The people are friendly and the food is tasty (although heavy use of microwave) but we felt that we ended up paying way to much for what we had. Would not return.

If you want a truly authentic Swazi meal then this is a must! We came here for a late lunch/early dinner and were the only ones present. Everything is freshly made, so it takes time but have patience as it's definitely worth it!

Simple ambience but with charm. Not busy when I stopped in. I ordered a chicken dish, which came with vegetables. Quite tasty. And I had a couple of appetizers that were recommended. Spiced and also tasty.

We came here on a Wednesday night and we're the only patrons, so we got really, really lucky. Dolores herself cooked for us, explained the dishes and shared her ideas about organic farming. All the vegetables and fruit we ate were organic and from her own farm. To start we tasted a waterberry juice (sisigium- fruit). It was very flavorful and we enjoyed it a lot. Then we started with three vegetables dishes: zucchini, butternut squash, and bell peppers. After that they served shredded maize and green banana curry. The curry was my favorite dish. I have never tried green banana curry before, but this one was just amazing. I would never have guey that these are bananas. Afterwards they served peanut chicken, ribs, and steak. It was a prix fix menu, and there was much more food than we could eat. The bill also surprised us, because it was cheaper than the buffet at the Mountain View hotel where we stayed. Also we enjoyed the mural decorating the dining room and numerous artifacts displayed on the walls.

We were told that this is the only typical restaurant with local food. It is different from everything you've tried before, however it is really tasty. The staff is polite. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay with card.

We had a wonderful time here. The concept of dinner ist, that you pay a set price and get a choice of different Swazi-style dishes to share. What can I say - all the bowls were absolutely empty afterwards, and there was plenty to eat! Though it is a bit hidden you should definitely try to eat here while you are in eSwatini.

We had a great and very fulfilling meal here. The cornbread was so good, we didn't even understand how. I've never seen my friend eat more.
