Tried to make an order though phone call, customer service was terrible, the dude sounded as though I called to beg for free food, even after paying. Took forever to get back to me and he sounds really cold!!! Terrible.
I decided to drive off from office to meet a friend for business discussion who ended up suggesting we go off to wakkis for lunch.
I opted in and off we go,
Well arrival was a unique experience for me, though I have been to...other places but wakkis was just exception, I love their services, food, customer service and and everything that happened there was amazing,
After everything we discussed our business and off we went, it was such an amazing place to be.More
It has been quite some time since I paid a visit to this place with friends and family however this was always the top of list whether it was to sit in or takeaway... food was always amazing and I should have left this review...some time ago.. I loved my experience in Abuja .. I lived there for nearly 4 years... it is so nice and refreshing to see the place is still open and doing well... hopefully one day I will return with my family..More
I've been going to Wakkies for the last ten years. I'm back in Abuja having been away in East Africa for a few years. Naturally, one of the first restaurants I visited upon returning was Wakkies, a true Abuja icon. I've never had a bad...meal there. Lots to choose from on the menu, great value for money, excellent service, and a welcoming and sociable ambiance. It really is worth a visit.More
I was quite disappointed as there were no options for drinks. I thought the last time I went there were options for cocktails but this time around the waiter mentioned chapman, and a few soft drinks. We settled for chapman which turned out to be...just fanta with colour (the worst chapman I have ever tasted). The food was just there and quite tasteless to be honest. We only ate because we were quite hungry. The food was definitely not worth the bill. All in all I must say this would be the last time I’ll ever go there.More
I tend to try the Indian restaurants of every city I visit, if only to ensure that an Indian person arrived in that city with the intention of making it his/her home and bringing the joy of Indian cuisine to every palate! The quality and...quantity of the food here was generous and high quality. I could barely finish a single dish as we shared. But the group left the restaurant satisfied and definitely coming back for more!More
Wakkis is a no fuss restaurant that does really good grills. I like Indian food, so I enjoyed their fare. It tasted like everything had been marinated for a good many hours, so the food had tons of flavour. Restaurant had a solid wooden decor...which gave the place a cool and casual vibe. Prices are very competitive. Would definitely recommend!More
