We decided to enjoy our last meal in Windhoek here and it was a perfect end to our 4 month stay. Their food is consistently excellent, the wine list is fabulous and Maria gave us marvellous service - she is an asset the establishment. Sitting...in the beautiful courtyard, with the tinkling sound of the water fountains, enjoying fabulous food and wine, was pure magic. If you visit ONE restaurant in Windhoek, make it this one!More

I was invited for my birthday and enjoyed good food and wine. The service was enthusiastic but could do with more training to match the price of food.

This is one of favourite restaurants in Windhoek. It is pricey and we usually do not take our kids with (no kids menu). We keep it for date lunch or dinner. The food is delicous and the service is always fantastic! Great wines to choose...from and a beautiful setting.More

It was my first dinner after 6 day tent trip to the southern part of Namibia. We went to the restaurant together with a couple from the guesthouse, where I stayed in Windhoek. All of us ordered different types of steak and all of us...were happy with the meat quality, dish representation and taste. Both South African wines we ordered were amazing! I strongly recommend Afrikaans Vol. 1 cabernet sauvignon. Chocolate brownie with goat cheese and a scoop of vanilla ice cream was a perfect end of the dinner! Keep in mind that the restaurant is open till 8 p.m. due to COVID, so you have to come a bit earlier than usual.More

My husband wanted to treat me for one last Dinner in Namibia. He reserved a table at the Stellenbosch Tasting Room. Once we arrived, we were seated by a friendly staff member. He brought us the Menu/Drinks Menu and left..... and that was it for...a long while. We had to call another waiter over for us to place our drinks order. Then we waited and waited to order the food. Trying to get the attention of a waiter was not successful. Not that I don't want to spend time with my husband, but it took almost 40 minutes before we could order our meals. Once ordered, the meals arrived hot. After the plates were cleared, we had mentioned that we would like to order dessert. Took a long time before the waiter came back and took our order. After dessert, we waited for the bill, but just as well could have gotten up and left the restaurant. Nobody would have noticed. Food was ok but service non-existent.More

Called in here on the way to the airport & had a delicious lunch served by a very professional waiter named Simon. The catch of the day was delicious, maybe a little to much beetroot puree. The Chicken salad with lots of avocado I'm told...was equally tasty. The deconstructed cheesecake was interesting, with caramelized walnuts & butterscotch sauce. Worth trying if you have a sweet tooth.More

We were quickly seated in the open courtyard. We were greeted by our friendly yet efficent waiter. The restaurant sports a large wine list. Me and any wife both decided to have steak, they came as ordered Med rare (the only way to eat steak) and...they were juicy and tender. For dessert we decided on tiramisu to share which was delightful, will definitely return on our next trip.More
