This was my fourth visit to the restaurant. The food is always good and I try something different every time I go. The staff are very attentive and the Owner, James is a great host. I will definitely be back to try something else. My only small criticism is their beer selection. The first three beers I asked for were... More

I booked a dinner for a big group (45 people) and everything went amazing. Sue had constant communication with me and did everything to have a very smooth and enjoyable dinner. Foodwise I had the best pork chops I ever had in my life and I can say that the menu is very similar to the things you can find... More

value for money, close proximately to all areas, secure parking & peaceful atmosphere. Kind & attentive owners in Sue & James, makes the whole experience of a night out enjoyable to couples & friends. Away from the hustle & bustle of multi diner houses where the noise level is just to great. Here you can enjoy a peaceful experience.

Sitting outside in the quiet and charming garden. Staff attentive and orders taken efficiently. Staff knowledgeable on all menu items. Menu food, not too big or too small. Started with fresh Greek salad and then beef kebab. Salad clean and crisp. Beef tasty. A good red wine. Lovely lunch.

Had a very nice meal here with colleagues. The fried halloumi and flaming sausage were very good appetizers. The sangria was also tasty and a rare find in Botswana. For dinner I had a full chicken and vegetables and found it to be very good. The service was friendly and the owner came by and welcomed us at the table... More

We sat in the garden late into the evening and thought the online photos hadn't really done the place justice. It's far more charming. Good and pleasant service - and the owner emailed straight back when we got in touch to make a reservation. Lots of interesting Portuguese dishes on the menu. We had excellent prawn cakes and Portuguese sausage... More

A unique dining experience in Gaborone, centrally located in the heart of the city in a quiet residential neighborhood. Caravela offers three distinct dining areas to choose from - a gorgeous outdoor garden to enjoy summertime lunch and quiet evening dinners, a bar dining area with a casual ambiance and warm fire in the winter months and an inside, air-conditioned dining area for those business meals or special occasions. Portuguese cuisine is served with seafood being the house specialty. The menu is varied with choices of beef, pork, chicken, lamb and vegetarian offerings. Main entree prices begin at P69. All food is prepared fresh on site and may be customized to your individual tastes and diet. Large groups can be accommodated with quick service for those needing to return to the office. Take away food may be ordered as well as platters for office meetings. Friendly service in a comfortable atmosphere.
