The buffet bill was $123 + $15 tips for three adults. The 30 min show starts at 1930 hrs. It is entertaining, with different dances and performers really getting into it. The food is meh. There's enough for you to choose from. The taste and prep of non-Zimbabwean dishes are good, rest like pasta, salads, sushi, desserts, breads, etc are OK at best. The staff are wonderful. The location around a water feature is lovely. All in all do go one night to take it all in.

A really wonderful evening under the stars with the sound of Vic Falls in the background. The marimba band were brilliant and the dancers just excellent. The buffet had pretty much the best food we had all week in Zimbabwe and it was an evening I will never forget. Loved every minute.

Had one evening here for dinner. Buffet style. Food was warm but not hot. Good choice. Staff were brilliant especially Purity. African dancing entertainment was very good but I believe it is the same every night. Hotel guests also have breakfast here. Again staff efficient and friendly. Choice is good but again food is not piping hot. Pancake was not cooked properly. Omelets were good.

What started out promising soon turned terrible. The entertainment was very good but was over well within 45 minutes. The food was ok. We asked for the wine list and then kept being told they were out of that one. Wines finally agreed, we were later told they had got the price wrong and tried to charge an extra $8 dollars. When we ordered an extra bottle later they then also tried to change the price on that. Deciding not to go for that they were keen to get rid of us even though we hadn’t looked at the desserts. It really was a shambles and judging by how empty it was I suspect the poor experience is becoming known.

We had pretty much written this place off for dinner after reading the bad reviews. It was however their only option for breakfast so that is where we ate the mornings we were there. Setting isn’t bad, service was fairly decent. Although, the server we had our first morning acted like we should be eager to converse with him. We tried to be friendly, but he wanted more. He asked lots of questions. They weren’t busy so he didn’t have much to do especially since it’s a buffet. I did find out he didn’t know what half and half with coffee meant. He thought it was half coffee and half milk. We rectified that the next morning.
We pretty much stuck with cold cereal, toast and eggs made to order. For some reason the cook thought he should put salt on my scrambled eggs. I didn’t see it but my husband did. The next 2 mornings I ordered them without salt.
Since it’s the only place it had to do.

Avoid, do not get lured into this tourist trap. There is very tourist entertainment, not a patch on what we had seen elsewhere in Zimbabwe.
Waitress did not have a clue. Did not have the wine we ordered so came back waving a couple of other bottles. When chosen white wine arrived it was room temperature, I had to ask for an ice bucket which seemed to surprise her. Noted other peoples white wine was simple left on to the side to keep warm.
Buffet food was your average for a hotel. After we had finished waitress wandered by with cutlery for cheese course (which I had already had to ask for off another waitress).
On the way back to our room the dining on the terrace looked much better, with a nice ambience.

Food wasn’t terrible, but very blah for 60 US dollars per person, excluding drinks. Fatty meat, and the oxtail had baked beans in it (?!) which took away from the classic flavour. Some of the food seemed like it was left out too long, considering we got there as the function started. Desserts didn’t seem fresh. The pudding seemed like it was reheated from a different day? I didn’t go up for seconds despite being pretty hungry on arrival.
Best thing about the night was the entertainment. Very colonial vibe in the hotel generally. Set in beautiful location, but poorly lit, so we didn’t get to enjoy the view much.
Overall overpriced, for low quality food and the entertainment only lasted an hour. I noticed later guests completely missed it!

Beautiful setting but somewhat sterile atmosphere in a very large hotel complex We went for dinner and a show.
The dancers were African dancers and were very good. However only were on for 45 minutes.
The big problem was multiple mistakes with ordering wine and different prices to the menu. Unfortunately the manager instead of sorting it and apologising double down.
In summary a nice setting lacked atmosphere, food passable but very expensive, staff had poor knowledge and manager poor attitude. There are better locally.

The hotel is amazing, the setting for this restaurant is beautiful but the food was good but we expected the best. Dinner was buffet style so lots of choice and it was nice and breakfasts plentiful but nothing out of the ordinary. The African dancing was definitely entertaining, but I wanted to understand their meaning. Would recommend as an experience but not for the food quality. Staff attentive and lovely

I have been coming here since I was a kid (last time was in 2019) and unfortunately what used to be a hugely entertaining show highlighting local culture and customs has become a (very) bad imitation of the lion king - although that lends it some credibility, which it shouldn’t. Gone are the feats of strength, the skill of the stilt dancers, the crocodile, and the wonderful tales of zimbabwean culture. These have been replaced by a bunch of people badly dancing around who spent most of the night singing to various patrons who had a birthday / anniversary. Sadly I won’t be coming back

Our booking for a front row table so we could see the show was made 6 months ago but was ignored in order to preference a tour group; and the food was inedible (soggy samosas and spring rolls, stale sushi, tough roast, unripe avocados, undercooked oxtail, rancid cheese and icecream that had been refrozen so many times that it was slimy. We were charged US$90 for a meal we could not eat.

The setting is outdoors and is beautiful. It’s a buffet dinner and I thought almost all the selections were sun standard in taste. The best things were the fried crocodile and the ice cream. The show was entertaining.

After a long day, this was the perfect restaurant to decompress, enjoy good food, and relax. The staff was very observant and provided lots of unexpected extras - including beautiful (warm) blankets when they noticed our visit to the falls had left us cold and damp with no time to change before our dinner reservation.
The food was more than we ever expected. As a pescatarian, I really appreciated the tilapia and it's top-notch preparation. One of the best fillets I've ever had. My meat-eating family enjoyed trying a few different game choices. The homemade chapatis were exceptionally good. And the mousse? Better than any 5 star mousse I've ever experienced.
We couldn't believe the price when the check arrived - the quality of food and atmosphere would have cost 2-3 times what we paid if we were at home.
And, we had no idea there would be a traditional show during dinner. The narrator explained the meaning behind each dance and the musicians sang and played their drums beautifully.
I'm typically leery of buffets - but, this is the exception. It's truly "not to be missed".
