Friends birthday table for 6 ... Six different dishes ALL tasteless and bland I had a spoonful returned and returned the dish Manager agreed after tasting dish that it wasn't up to par. However they still charge full price for the dish.

Thank desfer

Dear Desfer Your review saddens us as clearly you were not happy on this occasion. We have investigated the incident and it is unfortunate that you felt all the dishes were tasteless. We certainly concede that the lentil dish you returned needed seasoning which the manager acknowledged. It is unacceptable that she still charged you for a returned dish. She... More

Good food; not much for vegetarians except side dishes. Wonderful place to sit and beautiful area on outskirts of town (about 4 miles from center of Harare). Great desserts.

Had dinner here recently with my girlfriend and some friends who live in Harare. The grounds of the restaurant are very nice, though I didn't get to see much of it, as it was dark when we arrived for dinner. I had the West African groundnut stew which very good and nice and spicy. The Malva Pudding for desert was... More

Great food in a beautiful setting, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a stunning water feature. The fillet was cooked to perfection! Prices however are a bit heavy on the pocket. However, overall, is a must do if in Harare!

From the last time I went there some months ago where I had pork belly that smelled like fish and some indescribably godawful excuse for apple sauce, things have not improved. The sushi is widely accepted now as a total rip off with ridiculously paper thin slices I dont even think the fanciest Michelin 5 star would try to pull... More

Dear Sonya R Ouch!! Not sure what we have done to offend you and warrant such a scathing and potentially damaging attack. We receive a lot of reviews but few with this sort of venom. We sell hundreds of portions of pork belly and it has become one of the most popular dishes at Amanzi. We source top quality lean... More

The property is stunning even in the evening! I was so busy running around taking pictures that the food arrived in my absence. Ground nut stew and beef skewers. Its was great, but small portions. The food is definitely over priced. This experience was lovely! The musicians were excellent and the owners are a lot of fun!!!

It's worth going Friday late morning for the market and stay for the veggie buffet. Best vegetarian meal in Harare. Totally different scene from any night expat "work" dinner with out-of-town guests or late Thursday night live music party scene.

Sitting in the wonderful garden with excellent food and even better music. A must for a visit in Harare. It is quiet expensive but worth every dollar. reservation required. To save money take your own wine and pay the cork fee.

We recently held our school reunion at Amanzi Restaurant and this was the best place to start the weekend at. The owner arranged a wonderful dinner for our party of twenty and the meal was superb. The wine flowed liberally throughout and the bill was very reasonable indeed. Andy came round to check personally if everything was to our liking... More
