As you walk in the garden is breathtakingly beautiful and the fountain lights up very well at night. The food was great and their portions were generous. The waiter seemed to forget about us at times I guess because we were sitting outside. Other than that, the food was delicious and with the help of the manager we got an... More

I had great lunch here - beautifully presented and delicious food. Attentive service. I've also attended trivia here on a Wednesday night - very different experience - quite busy - but some good options for dinner and the staff manage to maintain a good level of service.

Great dinner of pork belly after great calamari starter - finished off as great evening in bar area listening to the live music on offer which believe is a Thursday occasion - all round good evening and only word of warning is the ZAR unfriendly US$ prices!

This is one restaurant in Harare that I reckon now has the hallmark of unique exquisite cuisine. The atmosphere is laid back and soothing. You are spoilt for choice and can choose from a variety of western and African dishes on offer. I liked their cuss - cuss served with a local trout fish variety and washed this down with... More

The tapas menu is interesting, but the grounds and ambiance truly add to make the experience top rate. A lovely porch to dine on. Very professional staff. A great Harare dining experience.

Friends birthday table for 6 ... Six different dishes ALL tasteless and bland I had a spoonful returned and returned the dish Manager agreed after tasting dish that it wasn't up to par. However they still charge full price for the dish.

Dear Desfer Your review saddens us as clearly you were not happy on this occasion. We have investigated the incident and it is unfortunate that you felt all the dishes were tasteless. We certainly concede that the lentil dish you returned needed seasoning which the manager acknowledged. It is unacceptable that she still charged you for a returned dish. She... More

Good food; not much for vegetarians except side dishes. Wonderful place to sit and beautiful area on outskirts of town (about 4 miles from center of Harare). Great desserts.

Had dinner here recently with my girlfriend and some friends who live in Harare. The grounds of the restaurant are very nice, though I didn't get to see much of it, as it was dark when we arrived for dinner. I had the West African groundnut stew which very good and nice and spicy. The Malva Pudding for desert was... More

Great food in a beautiful setting, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a stunning water feature. The fillet was cooked to perfection! Prices however are a bit heavy on the pocket. However, overall, is a must do if in Harare!

From the last time I went there some months ago where I had pork belly that smelled like fish and some indescribably godawful excuse for apple sauce, things have not improved. The sushi is widely accepted now as a total rip off with ridiculously paper thin slices I dont even think the fanciest Michelin 5 star would try to pull... More

Dear Sonya R Ouch!! Not sure what we have done to offend you and warrant such a scathing and potentially damaging attack. We receive a lot of reviews but few with this sort of venom. We sell hundreds of portions of pork belly and it has become one of the most popular dishes at Amanzi. We source top quality lean... More
