This place was recommended by a local and it turned out to be a real eating highlight of our 10 day Morocco holiday. A bit hard to find but when you do, ask for the house specialty! We just had to stop at the kitchen...More

This was a lovely evening. We did have better food while in Fes but The Assala offer an excellent value for money menu with wine or beer, and a very warm welcome. We enjoyed are evening there very much.

The food here was a bit better than most Fes/Marrakech medina restaurants. However, it was accompanied by a more expensive price. For being pretty deep in the medina, it's actually got a decent view from the roof.

We had a latish diner on the roof terrace so I don't know about other activities on the large first floor say in the daytime hours when I could tell there is a lot of activities. A very Berber decor.'
