Classy, unique open air, quiet (away from the buzz of town), white linen but casual too!!! The best beef we found on the island. And the staff were super!!! Our server, Maritza, was adorable. Sweet and attentive. Went there twice in our week stay!!

We had the pork medallions and the steak dinner. Maritza was a great server and good conversationalist. The food was fabulous and Tom makes some really good drinks (and we tried quite a few). We didn't have room for dessert but we did take home...More

Once you get over the pot holes in the "road" this place is a gem! Handled our large group with no sweat. We had 19 that night at our table and the service was excellent. The fresh grouper was quite good.

Going to The Black Orchid was comforting because even though I was in Belize, it felt more like the US in many ways, and I found that nice. Elegant, clean, tastefully decorated. The food was great, and oddly enough, including the vegetable sides. Portions were...More

Don't be put off by the gravel road full of pot holes on the way to this unique restaurant; the journey, typically by the ubiquitous golf cart or a taxi, is well worth it. Someday, I imagine the road will be a little smoother as...More

We went on Halloween evening and they were serving a limited 'Halloween' menu so not everything on the regular menu was available, but what we ordered was outstanding. Since it was Halloween, they had bowls of candy on each table and anyone with a child...More

We didn't take pictures either. What you see is what you get. It is VERY nice. But you go in wearing whatever. They don't care. (They'll also give you bug spray if you need it since it is an open air place.)
