Are you people out of your minds? What are you? 14 years old to be waiting on an endless line just to have a cup of (bad) coffee?? Just for a shot on the Instagram? Seriously?the place is superb but I’ve seen lots of buildings...like that in France and Russia .I don’t have to drink coffee in them especially when there are plenty of excellent options close by.More

Just great, I dont need to add any other comments. In case of visit Budapest, it is mandatory to visit this place. Live music, pompous atmosphere.

We planned to have dinner on the 1st of January 2022, but unfortunately they only had one type of food in the entire menu. They have presented us a “special” menu for the new year, but there was only a dish available. The waiter told...us that people come here only for some photos and some deserts, so food is not so important. Is it bad to be upset that you cannot order food in a restaurant ? This restaurant is terrible in terms of food and services. The architecture, though, is amazing.More

Don't order food! The crispy ribs from the menu were a piece of fat with cold fries. Just have a coffee and enjoy the beautiful location.

Great interior but disappointing taste of food and drinks. You practically pay a ticket in overpriced drinks and food to enjoy the beautiful decorated interior. The service is not great also. I waited 20 minutes for a cake.

Overpriced. Food not that good, waited 40 mins to get in and didn’t even get to sit in the nice bit. Give it a miss if you are in Budapest.

Most iconic cafe in Budapest and probably in the world. A bit more expensive than the average cafes but really worth it. I tried it either for breakfast and for dinner and like it. I’d recommend you to go during the afternoon or in the...early morning for less buzz. We enjoyed the live music A LOT and the New York burger. It comes with fries like in the pic and it’s okay for one person. There is a waiter that looks like Cristiano Ronaldo haha so snap a shot with him If you can 🤣More

Visited here with a few friends, really just to see the inside of the place, not so much for the food or drinks. And, after my visit, I can conclude that indeed one should go here with the intent of simply checking out the architecture...and décor. The drinks and food weren't that great. We ordered a slice of cheesecake, and it definitely wasn't what you'd call cheesecake - I can't tell you what it was. Prices are high, service is a bit slow and perhaps a bit cold. Given the great number of tourists who arrive just to snap some photos of the interior and have a coffee, I can see why the Staff is indifferent. Reservations are possible, otherwise you'll likely have to stand in line for 10 minutes or so while you wait for a table. I did appreciate the live music. I guess I would recommend visiting here at least once, just so you can soak in the interior. Be warned the prices are a little high, service somewhat lacking, and you'll have to deal with countless tourists, including the type that think they are the best looking people ever and literally take 1,000 selfies of themselves.More

this is not a restaurant. it is a slow service tourist cafe. Serving - like in a budget cafe. Prices are like in an expensive restaurant. One plus - is the luxurious interior.

We came here for breakfast and found the architecture and live music fantastic. It was expensive, however you do pay for the experience and is definitely a place not to miss out on if visiting Budapest. We got 2 Buffett breakfasts which included a hot...freshly cooked dish also. Would recommend the French toast. Booking a reservation is definitely required.More

They don't allow dogs. We were staying in the hotel and we have a small dog (use to go to restaurants) and he was not allowed :(

Too expensive for what it is, but you can either make a reservation, or wait the short queue upon arrival.
