We were strolling through the cobblestone streets of Prague, our stomach growling louder than a disgruntled bear. Like a beacon of hope amidst the sea of tourists, we spotted Lokál Dlouhááá. This isn't just any restaurant; it's a haven of warmth and gastronomic satisfaction. As...we stepped inside, we were welcomed with open arms by the staff, who seem to have a sixth sense for making us feel like royalty complete w a window seat at the local Stammtisch with a lovely couple visiting in from Munich. The traditional Czech classics hit the bulls eye. Each dish is a masterpiece crafted with love. Lokál Dlouhááá effortlessly blends the cozy charm of a Czech tavern with the buzz of a hip downtown hotspot. It's the kind of place where your server feels more like a long-lost buddy from high school (shoutout to Loboué for making us feel like VIPs!). Lokál Dlouhááá isn't just a restaurant; it's a culinary journey sprinkled with surprises and served with a side of laughter. Whether you're a globe-trotting foodie or a local in need of a pick-me-up, Lokál guarantees an evening filled with delicious food, unbeatable hospitality, and enough fun to make even the grumpiest goulash crack a smile. And then there's Daniel Proksch, the Sherlock Holmes of lost items, who, even after you've bid Prague adieu, reaches out to inform you about the forgotten treasures you left behind. Talk about going the extra mile! Thank you, Daniel and all @Lokál Dlouhááá, for an adventure we won't soon forget. We'll definitely be back for more!More

Was very busy and the staff were friendly. They did miss us off the waiting list even though we waited by the tables they asked us too resulting in a 90 minute wait! Food was ok. Waitress was very pushy for a tip, we gave...one as they had been friendly overall but thought worth preparing people for that pushiness as it was unexpected and dampened the overall experience a bit.More

We try to get to a couple of the Lokal branded restaurants each visit. I think the Pilsner Urquell was about 65kc for .5l. Good atmosphere and friendly service. Can get busy at times so going at an off hour can be beneficial.

We went here as recommended by tour company for good local food and beer. Whilst here googled Pilsner Urquell and found out it is considered gluten free, real bonus. Staff were good about gluten free options. We had sausages and goats cheese salad. Really enjoyed...the goats cheese salad and beer. Like German beer keller, recommend trying this.More

Quick and simple service, no fuss. Basic interiors, not necessarily comfortable/cozy, however not necessary given its style. This place is all about the beer and food - both of which were gorgeous! We shared a mixed sausage grill to start followed two chicken schnitzels with...potato salad! Mixed grill was nice, but the schnitzels were great - so so tasty! And complimented with a lovely Czech beer - what more could you want. Definitely recommend, but for a quick meal. Not somewhere to sit and spend time over a slow meal in my opinion.More

This was the first place we ate when visiting Prague as we really wanted to try proper Czech food. This was great. It came across as somewhere that the locals eat. There were no frills, just really tasty food and friendly waiters at a low...cost. We were given English menus, but I already knew I wanted to try Svíčková which the waiter helped me pronounce without judgementMore

My wife and I visited Lokal Dlouhaaa in January 2024 during our visit in Prague. We wanted to just visit a local pub to have some local beer and local food (just to check something local). I have to admit that we were so glad...we made the choice of the specific pub (after we checked some reviews) and it wasn't just a pub. Food was really nice, service was very kind and helpful. We had the sausage braised in dark beer, marinated Czech camembert, pork goulash and beef with rice. Main (pork and beef) were very tasteful, camembert was a bit more spicy for our likings but it was really nice. And sausage was really nice plate for our beer. We enjoyed our beers and dinner and we had a very very very good experience. This pub deserves a visit as you will enjoy nice food, nice beers with local people and in fair price.More

Visited twice on our visit to Prague. Both nights the place was packed but despite not having reservations we were seated quickly. The building is an old school beer hall with dated tables and chairs which add to the whole experience. Most diners appeared to...be locals but there were a few visitors in there too. Food and drink was excellent, served quickly and efficiently by friendly staff. Next time we're back I'd certainly go backMore

This place became highly recommended and I can understand why. It was busy at 4.30pm on a Wednesday the first week in January! Why? Because it was good honest food, reasonably priced and lots of beer!

Good simple basic food. Good service. We had chicken broth and potato soup which were delicious. Sausage and schnitzel which were tasty. The beer is cheap. Definitely recommended for lunch on a cold day.
