Great food. We had the Tenderloin Beef, Beef Cheeks and Mushroom Risotto main courses and all were excellent after the Goats Cheese starter went down very well. Waiter was very knowledgeable of the local wines and made excellent recommendations. All in all a really pleasant...evening.More

Amazing restaurant! We came with no reservation and they were good enough to squeeze us in. Had the pike perch and the beef cheeks - both were lovely. Great dessert too! Very reasonably priced and great atmosphere.

The restaurant is very cosy and we had a nice window seat looking onto the street. My main course was absolutely delicious - free range chicken full of flavour and wonderfully tender, accompanied by superb artichoke purée, truffle sauce and mushrooms. It was perfect. The...venison with coffee sauce was also tremendous and both meals were very reasonably priced for the quality. The confit pear didn’t quite hit the mark as it was a little hard and a bit too sweet for me. It was still decent however. The baked chocolate dessert was very good and went well with the apricot purée and gingerbread. The wines were excellent.Service was friendly and efficient, and I would heartily recommend this restaurant for an excellent meal.More

Came across this restaurant by complete accident whilst looking for another one! So glad we did as we had a delicious meal with excellent service. We had the best table next to the window and we hadn’t even booked! The place soon got busy so...I’d advise booking. Highly recommend!More

We ate dinner here twice. On both occasions the food and wines were very good. It's a characterful venue in a lovely hotel. Over the two nights we sampled the Duck Liver Crème Brûlée and soup as starters; Grilled Deer Loin, Pike Perch Fillet and...Tournedos Rossini as mains. All were good. Service on the first occasion was excellent and the evening as a whole merited 5 stars. The second visit was marred by the brusque approach of one of the waiters to a group of Asian guests. They were clearly struggling with a Western-style menu, what the dishes were and how big they were. The waiter was unhelpful to them. Although the service we received was good, this treatment of other guests made us - and others - uncomfortable. It detracted from our enjoyment and spoiled the atmosphere. All the other staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful - this was an unfortunate exceptionMore

We came to this restaurant based on the recommendation from our concierge for dinner while visiting Prague last weekend. This restaurant was warm and cozy, the staff were amazing, waiters were lovely, professional and very attentive. The food was very nice, too. If you're visiting...Prague, don't forget to make a reservation, they are pretty busy and there is a reason for that.More

More upmarket than the majority of the restaurants nearby but still quite affordable. The place has nice friendly atmosphere and seemed popular with couples. Portion sizes are generous so don't expect to eat 3 courses unless you are very peckish (we struggled to finish two)...Vegetarian option (whipped feta then mushroom risotto) were both delicious. So was the duck liver starter and the pork knuckle main.More

Of the three places we tried in Prague during our short recent visit, this place stands out. Located at the Castle end of the Charles Bridge this restaurant offers excellent value and great traditional Czech dishes with a slight modern twist. Service was prompt, efficient,...and polite. We hadn't booked so we didn't sit in the main part of the restaurant but we were well looked after.More
