We were seated outside on a lovely evening even though the mosquitoes were out in force. I had a salad from the specials board, which contained beetroot and grains. As usual, we had a look over the dessert menu, which included fairly typical sweet things,...including the ubiquitous sticky date pudding, which always takes me back to the 1980s; an era I do not want to repeat. The desserts on offer did not entice me. The coffee was good.More

The staff, food and the place it was lovely to have a sunday celebration meal at. The menu was comprehensive and covered all tastes. The service was excellent. The meals fantastic and especially their Roasted Kipfler Potatoes w Rosemary Salt & Aioli.

Great to get out with friends again. Good selection on the mine. Lamb shoulder perfectly cooked. Would recommend.

Left the Brougham arms extremely unsatisfied with meals. Meals were extremely small for the price point and for being a pub meal. Waited over an hour for our meals and left still hungry. I am by no means a big eater either. Very disappointed in...managers response when given feedback about meal size and quality ( 2 of our groups steaks were ordered medium and came out rare). Will not be going back.More

As always an excellent dining experience. Lamb shoulder and beef cheeks were stunning and very generous portions. Service was spot on from Daniel, Mitch, Phil and team. Looking forward to next visit. Keep up the great work guys.

All meals are always full of flavour and very generous servings. The service is always attentive & friendly.

Booked online due to covid19. They called back within 10 minutes to confirm with a warm conversation. As soon as we walked in we knew were in the right place, we greeted at the door by a waiter who served us wonderfully well all night....Sorry I can’t remember his name but he was very efficient and friendly- particularly to our 9 yr old who felt very special and loved her simple fish n chips. Kids menu was full of choices and little bonuses that made this place more appealing online. We, especially our 9 yr old, were not disappointed. The food came quickly and was outstanding. The slow cooked lamb shoulder on mash.... with a nice Heathcote Shiraz was absolutely scrumptious. Tender with a lovely jus and perfectly blanched greens. Bookings during this period of uncertainty advisable as the place filled very quickly due to limited seating. As an ex Melbourne publican I highly recommend the Brougham Arms Hotel. Great food, service and ambiance. Well worth the visit. Thinking about going back tomorrow night to try something else the menu while still in Bendigo. If not will definitely go back in the future.
