Very cosy place, excellent service, friendly and rapid, good choice on the menu. Food was simple, well matched and good, not overpriced. I will certainly go back there when being in Bendigo again.

Excellent Venue

We dined at this Restaurant last week and it is definitely worth while visiting. Staff and surroundings are professional and worthy of a restaurant with a good reputation. We selected a share meal - 750gms slow roasted shoulder of lamb which came on a cauliflower...sauce and served with baked kiffler potatoes and jus. Really excellent meal and beautifully cooked and presented. Make a booking even during the week so as not to be disappointed.More

Magnificent

I don't use that word much, but my experience at the Woodhouse was just that, the service from Start to finish was impeccable the food was sublime and there was nothing that I could have gotten that would have made it any different or better....An excellent evening great food and great company. Pork Belly Entree, Steaks cooked to absolute perfection and tender as can be. Sides were full of flavour and generous and the wife thoroughly enjoyed a chocky dessert. Certainly not a pub meal and its pricey compared to that, but do yourself a favour. You will not be disappointed, top notch all the way and I will be back for sure....More

Birthday Party

The Woodhouse never disappoints and our family celebrated our daughter’s birthday with an amazing team at the Woodhouse who made our time there so special The food & service was spectacular catering to our every need The team are the best

Very happy!

A lovely venue with lovely staff! Went here for an anniversary dinner and left exceptionally happy. My partner and I regularly do fine dining and we were very pleased with the woodhouse. First meal out after coming out of Quarantine

Really enjoyed our meal. The Woodhouse never fails in the quality and service provided. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the desserts were delicious. Excellent service from our waiter.

Wow! Beyond brilliant

Wow! I cannot think of enough superlatives to describe our experience! Service was professional and first class. Food? Over the years I have eaten in some of the best ( and most expensive) restaurants in the dining capital of Australia. The beautiful food in this...restaurant exceeded anything I can recall. If I was ever feeling poor I would come here just for the deserts.More

Excellent degustation

Enjoy the ambience and the excellent service whilst taking your time to savour the flavours presented at their best with wines worthy of the food. Best enjoyed over a long lunch (with a designated driver 😉).

Perfect steak

The 3 of us (including 11yo daughter) dined here for lunch on the 14/1. The steaks were perfect! Our “kids” meal for our daughter while seeming exy at $30 (2 course) made her feel special also as it was fine dining for kids, very well...presented. A lovely ambience, with a great drinks list. Yes they do even though they specialise in steak. We shared the Prawn entre and it was super delicious. They have a fish of the day as main but we have not tried that.
