Does IGA offer takeaway?

A very unassuming shop from the outside however inside is a surprising amount of anything that you might need. It's not just a grocery shop, there is a cafe, stationery, homestyle accessories, souvenirs, fresh salads, electrical, auto bits and everything in between. Reasonable prices considering.

Great IGA

Very impressive IGA supermarket in a small isolated regional setting. Excellent range of produce inclusing fresh produce.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced

The owners of this IGA need to take a hard look at themselves! Having lined up with at least for 10 mins whilst two other employees chatted amongst themselves at a ‘closed’ till another employee who was servicing the line I was in finally asked...one of them to get moving and serve us! This wasn’t the first time I had been in there and same thing happened! Wake up to yourselves boys and realise if you haven’t got us you don’t get paid!!!!!More

A very large supermarket

We needed a few items but I always like to check out the whole supermarket. They had everything you could want and the prices were reasonable.

Great variety

Not only did this IGA have groceries, it had a newagency and a little gift section as well as a coffee shop. As far as I could see it was the only grocery store in Coober Pedy.

An incredible find

I was amazed by the choice in the local IGA. From croissants and delicious breads and pastries for breakfast, I stocked up on truffle oil, imported Hungarian pepper paste in tubes and roasted red peppers bruschetta topping as well as a mixture of salt and...pepper in a grinder !!!More

Brilliant supermaket

What a wonderful surprise to find such a great supermarket with huge selection including fresh fruit and veg , plus all kinds of gourmet treats for hungry campers to stock up on . Go Coober Pedy IGA love your work !!

Great shopping in the outback

Something most of the national & international travelers to Coober Pedy in the outback of South Australia would not expect. A 1st class IGA Shopping Center with great service and foods from all over the world! Just to mention a few... Italian Salami, German meats,...Swiss Cheese, Continental Bread, Asian foods, European delicatessen & sweets and much more... Having lived & shopped in Brisbane, Qld for 15 years I personally class this IGA shop as top & outstanding shopping establishement.More

Not your average IGA

An outback store with the lot, newsagency also an indoor cafe were the locals seem to gather for coffees and chats in the cool interior a deli area to have not seen an IGA like this before locals chatty & great service EVERYTHING U NEED...& MOREMore
