Delightful dinner on at first night at Pee Wee’s. Very accommodating as they squeezed us in at the last minute. Beautiful seafood starter followed by great fish dinners. Staff very attentive and a great spot to watch the sun go down. Worth a trip for...a special occasionMore

Per Wee’s is regarded as the five star dinning experience of Darwin. The place you go when you want to celebrate something special! It’s a place that you avoid looking at the prices when browsing the menu, because you know it’s going to be high!...But you don’t mind that, because for the price, you know (and rightly expect!) that the food and drinks are going to be amazing! They have to be! Well, they weren’t. First of all. It was LOUD in the restaurant. So loud that I couldn’t hear what the person sitting across from me way saying. Yes, that loud! Not an enjoyable atmosphere for a restaurant in the middle of nowhere, a place that you expect to be romantic and serene. The staff forgot my cocktail order twice, but when they did arrive they were very tasty, so it was worth the wait. But they could have made a lot more money off me (at $22 a pop!) if they had been attentive and kept them coming and not relied on me to wave them down to take a drinks order. The starter bread was rock hard, so hard that the crust could not be eaten as it would have cut your gums. The entrees were a good size and while nice, they were nothing to write home about. Flavourless. The mains were a pretty decent size and that impressed me. The eye fillet was cooked great but the duck fat potatoes were disgusting. The pork serving was huge but was lacking flavour. The desserts was sooooo beautiful to look at. All three different sweets looked like works of art, but sadly, again lacked flavour. The special of the night, a deconstructed pavlova, was by far the winner on flavour. So, at the end, it was a below average night out, with meals that were lacking in flavour. The food at the local pub has more flavour. I think if the atmosphere had been better and we had been able to hear each other, it would have been a-lot better an evening. But as it turned out, we were simply unimpressed. Will I recommend to a friend? No. Will I return? Not if I’m paying.More

Lovely evening. Had a cocktail outside first. The lamb was recommended and it didn’t disappoint. The entree tasting plate was sumptuous. Views spectacular. Unfortunately no room for the dessert tasting plate!

We came to Pee Wee's twice as we had a voucher. First time we went was great however I definitely enjoyed the second time as we got to sit outside given it was dry season. The food was excellent and great service as well.

The ambience is priceless, Staff were lovely, the Meat and fish dishes were great however we did have a vegetarian with us and there was only one choice for them. $35 for a piece of eggplant seems quite extravagant. They were quite disappointed. Not the...place to go if you don't eat fish or meat,More

Exceptional menu (both food and drink), exceptional location, exceptional staff, making for a great night out. This is Darwin’s best and is certainly worth the price for an amazing dining experience

Food and location amazing. Cannot fault where this restaurant is nor the talent of the chef and food team. Service staff were the key downer …. poured our own drinks from the get go and no attention to us the dinners.

We had the most amazing meal here last night ,my wife described it as the best three courses she has ever had . From the owners Meet and greet ,through to the wait staff we simply could not fault the attention to detail and friendly...service. The food was amazing ,great choice and very tasty mmmm . The pallet cleansers were delicious and a nice touch too. It’s a great spot to spend an evening . It’s a place to treat yourselves as it’s not a cheap nite out. But you simply get what you pay for This will be one we will always return to should we return to Darwin .More
