The dough, the crust, the sauce. The pizza base was about 1 mm thick, it...cannot support the toppings and automatically result in a soggy pizza. If you cannot get the basics right, you will never make a great pizza. And the owner is to blame. There is zero supervion. Sorry Nico. After 20 years i will not tell you how to do it. Visited from out of town with a friend. Had a really wonderful breakfast. Very good value for money. Great service from our waiter and as the morning progressed the view of Table Mountain just added to a very enjoyable time. Thank you Cafe Chameleon. Cafe Chameleon has been there for over 15 years which is testimony to the quality of the food and service offered. We popped in for coffee and a piece of cake both of which were great. Service too was very good. Situated where it is...on the Platterkloof it gives stunning views of Cape Town and Table Mountain. A real hidden gem.More

My toasted gourmet ciabatta sandwhich was ordered as well toasted but it was half toasted, one slice only of the two slices. And the waitress never even came to ask if our meal was in order. No manager either to be seen or doing the...rounds to tables. No chips with the sandwhiches you have to pay extra if you want.More

I came to Cafe Chameleon for a quick break during a business trip to Cape Town. Lots of parking nearby as the restaurant is located in a mini mall. Table service was friendly, with a range of options, including a number of burgers. The food...arrived quite quickly, burger was cooked to my my liking, still nice and juicy, and plenty of avocado slices, not pulp. Well worth the trip out!More

Most of the tables were reserved at 10am for lunch(festive season in Cape Town) but we were accommodated as we were 2 and "in a hurry"! Great service great breakfast and well-priced. Always a good experience here
