We ordered the Mussels as main course at R80 and received around 10 each in a small bowl of watery cream. We checked with the waiter that this must be a starter, but no with a shrug he confirmed it as the main course!

Hi Stephen, I must apologise for the waiter misinforming you. We only serve a starter portion of mussels and this should have been made clear. Please can we have your contact details to get in touch with you? Apologies once again.

This place is nice and relaxed, friendly staff! Not a big alcohol list- wanted to have a MCC but they only had very sweet bubbly. So we had gin and tonics and white wine. They had two options for gin- it was fine! The outside...sitting area is nice. There is a parking space just opposite which is a huge benefit!More

I've been for breakfast, lunch and dinner at this establishment. Great vibe. Cosy setting. Yum food, amazing poppers. Had one mishap where the risotto tasted off. They dealt with it so impeccably that i returned the next night to eat there again. Great spot. Awesome...staff.More

Our waiter took nearly half an hour to bring our drinks and had to be reminded twice about them. When they did come eventually one was incorrect. Then they didn't put our meal orders through properly and we had to wait really long again. When...that finally came it was average, and my burger didn't have any of the toppings as stated in the menu.More

We celebrated our daughters 21st birthday at this wonderful venue on Friday night (7 September 2018) with family and a few of her close friends. Juan accommodated us by allowing us to bring in some of our own decor, some of our own light music...to make it more personal which was much appreciated. Everything went off BETTER than expected and we were especially blown away by the wonderful service received by our AWESOME waiter, GESH. He was cordial, hospitable, observant and very attentive to our needs. The food was really good and our guests enjoyed every minute :) Thank you guys, for an evening we will remember for a long time to come!!More

We went to “A Touch Of Madness” on Women’s Day, we were a group of approx 20 family members. When we arrived at 12 the bathrooms were filthy, but fortunately had been cleaned a bit later on. The staff were friendly, however this didn’t make...up for us waiting for 2.5 hours for the food! Given the size of the table we couldn’t leave and find somewhere else to go so we stuck it out. The nachos arrived first, some were luke warm and not hot, cheese had started to congeal. The rest of the meals came out about 15 mins after the first meals. The chicken livers made their entrance last. Overall a poor experience, food average and service very poor.More

Great quirky concept, fun design and relaxed vibe. They were happy to allow my pup in too, which is appreciated. Would have loved to come to this place a few years ago while I was studying - just enough conversational atmosphere, just enough party :)...We only had drinks, unfortunately (Anglo-Turkish delight G&T) but will be back sometime to have a meal.More

Great spot in walking distance from our home. Fab wine list and drinks menu. Food is simple and well made- covering a wide range of tastes with different specials for the days of the week. We had burgers, nachos, chili poppers and cheese balls- all...delicious. We'll be back.More
