The atmosphere inside the coffee shop was very vibrant and relaxing. The drinks and foods were all tasty and worthwhile. I just want to keep coming back to this place. Thank You!

Recently attended a baby shower at this venue with a set buffet style breakfast. Fabulous setting - casual, pretty, country-home style and very accommodating - can not fault the venue. However, the set buffet breakfast served was disappointing. The muffins and scones were small and...stale (perhaps just dry!). The 'brownies' were chocolate Marie biscuit squares, which disappointed me. Overall, I felt the buffet lacked creativity, somewhat boring with the over supply of chicken mayo sandwiches making the bulk of the buffet. The buffet breakfast cost was steep solely based on the disappointing food supplied. I reiterate that this review is based on the 'set breakfast buffet' and do hope to return to try the venue again....and the last note, the coffee calibre in CPT and surroundings is on the up and this too could be reviewed.More

We have been at Belle Reve once before and really loved the peace on the farm. This restaurant is part of the Pink Geranium Nursery, also part of a working farm. Staff was very accommodating in setting up a table near the kids play area,...as we were giving our father and grandpa a surprise dinner. Lovely chicken pie with fresh vegs and on request also made us a huge bowl of salad. Everything priced very reasonable. Service was excellent. We will be backMore

What a lovely place this is. Not to far from Cape Town. Beautiful views. Lots grass for the kids to run around and a fun play area as well. The service was very friendly and warm and welcoming. Had some great toasted sandwiches and burgers...here. I loved my chocolate cake with meringue on top. Feel like a brake from the city and don't want to drive to far, well this is the place to go. Always a bonus when it is family friendly. Loved our visit here will definitely be back.More

The bistro is a little secluded even though it is just off the N1 national road. If you need a quick stop for coffee, tea, breakfast, friendly service and fresh air this is a great place for it. There is a small nursery to browse....We had a variety of birds fly around the dam area, which adds to the nice open feel. Good place for coffee with friends.More

Very friendly, nice and quiet restaurant with very friendly staff. The food is amazing and very affordable. Teal good value for money. They just need a liquor license but BYO is welcome.

Driving out of Cape Town on the N1 and on our way to Stellenbosch Wine route we turn of onto the R304. We where suppose to turn right but in front of us where a big sign saying "Belle Reve" Bistro... there is also a...nursery. So we turn left then onto a gravel road. We intend to visit the nursery but end up in die Belle Reve Bistro that where part of the nursery. Small little secluded place, overlooking a water filled dam with ducks and the setting where so tranquil. We decide to have breakfast, bread home baked, scones and the presentation where great. It is worth to explore this little gem of the big road. Got a big stoep to relax on. Having a breakfast that you are not push by a waiter or crowds of people can be a plus... Try itMore
