Amazing. Their Sunday lunch is affordable and nice, Friendly staff and a home feeling environment. Make sure you book in time because it seems to be very popular and most of the time fully booked specilly the Sunday lunches. What I like from them is that you can also order your Sunday lunch as a take away.

I travel through Hartenbos a few times a year for business. When you have been on the road for a few days and tired of take a-way's and you feel like a plate of old fashion, mammas food, this is where you must stop. The food is tasty and very affordable. Rice, meat, veggies and a side salad. You even get pudding after your main meal. They don't have a liquor license so you can take your own bottle of wine along. You need to book your seat on a Sunday for lunch as it is a very small restaurant. Everything is very basic but you won't leave hungry.

I enjoy the food at Boepensie. Real tradiotanal food and very good service. It is affordable.
The also have daily specials for lunch. Friendly staff

I ordered takeaway Sunday Lunch on 4 November and what a disappointment it was .
When I opened it , it was so small , I wanted to take it back , but I did not want to enter into an argument on food on a Sunday. You have a choice between small ( R60 and large ( R70). The difference in price is only R10. How they measure that R10 in quantity is a mystery to me. Although I ordered the large, I landed up with a small. Their menu mentioned two pieces of meat ,there was only two thin slices of beef. If you pick up the beef slices, you could see through them. Two small potatoes was the rest, with a small portion of broccoli. Never again !!! Next time ( if ever) I will open the box before I pay.

We have had takeaways from this place a few times now and each time we have had excellent food prepared with love. Real homemade food, just takeaway
Don’t be fooled by the modest store the food is really great and the prices as well!
I recommend the pizza and the burgers

Just like mom used to make burgers and fish and chips. Boepensie chips are the best in Mosselbay! Reasonable prices and freshly made food.

Owner very friendly prices are very reasonable and food is very tasty and made freshly on order. There are specials on every day and a big range to choose from.

This little restaurant is family run and the service is excellent. It is open daily for breakfast and lunches and offers numerous "specials" each day. The prices are extremely good and you get a great meal but without all the expensive trimmings which is sometimes very enjoyable. Well done and keep it up as there is always room for this type of restaurant.
