If you are looking to eat not the average italian I can recommend this place. You get value for money as the menu has a very good price quality ratio. The service is also very good and the location very nice. We will come back!

Acquavite is situated in a medieval setting in the old town of Naarden. On arrival the host(esse)s were very attentive and kind. Dinner as well as the accompanying wines was perfect. I had the veal tournedos accompanied by endives wrapped in bacon and truffle potatoe...More

Restaurant Acquavite arranged the perfect wedding dinner and party for us. From start to finish, the interaction with Sabine was first class, constructive and exceeded expectations. The dinner was top quality (receiving many positive comments and feedback from our guests). The staff were not only...More

The starters were lovely, nice warm bread, the rabbit dish was a bit dry and tasteless but the homemade sorbets were delicious. Nice location, beautiful decor and excellent service. The price was reasonable. I think the Italian dishes and pizzas would have been better and...More

This is a deservedly popular Italian restaurant tucked into the battlements of Naarden's historic city wall. Large open kitchen where you can see the chefs hard at work. Young attentive staff who have been well trained to work as a team. They have just the...More

Wonderful atmosphere in an historic building amongst the arches. The menu is not overly large but covers all the bases in an authentic Italian style biased towards pasta and some pizzas. The staff are attentive if generally a little young but trying to please. The...More

This is a good Italian restaurant at a very nice (and really different) location. We had several starters like grilled slices of tuna and bruschetta. As main course risotto, fish and calzone. All delicious. Also a small but good wine card.

This place has a nice location under the old wall. But they just don't make the cut. The duck was chewy and the staff just miss the touch. Maybe too young although they try hard which is the right spirit at least. The atmosphere is...More
