We visited this place on Saturday, the city band was rehearsing, great atmosphere, so relaxed! The coffee was out of this world!!!
The ice cream mandarin taste was GREAT!
I got a little disappointed with the breakfast buffet. I found it a little bit poor having not so many options.

My children and I ate here following Trip Advisor recommendations. While the location is undoubtedly picturesque and the cakes and coffee pretty good, the waiters were the rudest that I have encountered in all of Austria. Above all be warned if visiting in August as we did, this place is awash with wasps. They crawl over the cakes, on the tables. While sitting at a table outside I was stung. Staff didn't even ask if I was ok. The next day my arm became severely swollen with a red ring and I ended up needing urgent medical care. Maybe something to do with the pesticides used in local fruit orchards? Personally, I would avoid like the plague. Head to Charly Temmel instead where the staff are super friendly and the cakes and ice creams heavenly.

A complete bust!
Order: Ice cream (hot love) & a Hugo
Conclusion: Ice cream portion apparently smaller in autumn than served in summer and jam jars (!) (have been there several times and know this rather differently), raspberries ice cold, the Hugo was fine, but: Table dirty, then had the cake jelly of the previous guests on the sleeves, no further service, the waiter was then in front of the restaurant "leaf sucking", so we proceeded to pay also for the checkout. There we then made our displeasure known, but that did not interest the lady behind the counter and she disappeared in the kitchen....
Very bad, as we think, was once "the confectionery" in the place....

The cafe is nicely decorated (but you can also say old-fashioned), but the quality and price are not right. My apple strudel was ice cold, the melange lukewarm (cold cup?). And 90 cents for a glass of tap water 1/4 litre? 3.60 a litre? I don't think it's possible. 12 euros for a Black Forest cup and then not a single cherry???

This place is simply great. The Konditorei Ulreich in Fürstenfeld finds just the right balance between shiny-elegant and comfortable. Here you truly can relax from the day’s buzz. Every time when I have to do in the region or driving through I stop by here at Ulreich and get myself a fine dessert and great cup of coffee.
This time round I had a yummy Bananentorte (Banana Tart) together with a lovely Café Verlängerter in a golden cup-handle and colorful art on the wall. All of the many details of this splendor underscores the aristoratic impression while being at the Ulreich, the first dessert parlor in town. By the way you also get creamy ice cream here at the Ulreich and you even can enjoy the summer sun in the patio on main square.
Also the Mohntorte (Poppy Seed Tart) is delicious as well the Hungarian Dobostorte (Dobos Tart) is with its layers of chocolate-cream and caramel topping. The Linzertorte (Linzer Tart) with its marmelade layers and the Esterhazytorte (Esterhazy Tart) with its nut cream layers is highly recommendable as well. You see, I am starting to luxuriate. There are so many delicious desserts here at Ulreich’s.
From Fürstenfeld with love!
